Product Description About the producerBerton Vineyard was established by Bob and Cherie Berton in May 1996 with 75 acres of land at 450 metres above sea level on gently rolling hills in a sub-region of Eden Valley in South Australia. The Reserve Shiraz and Reserve Chardonnay wines are still sourced from this plot. In 2007 Bob purchased the Yenda winery in the heart of the Riverina. This facility has the capacity to process 20,000 tonnes, and allows Berton Vineyard to produce wines which sit alongside earlier single vineyard offerings.About the wineAn espresso of a wine! This wine is bursting with blackberry and plum aromas enhanced by toasty, oaky, vanilla notes. The palate is full flavoured and intense with blackberry, blueberry fruit and sweet spicy notes supported by ripe, dense tannins, giving the palate great structure & length.

A great example of the grape
Having originally found this wine back in 2006 I have been unable to locate it since so was thrilled to find it. Price is very good for a great example of Australian Shiraz and I would heartily recommend this to anyone fond of big, peppery Shiraz.

Very tasty wine
We had this wine at The Beefeater of all places. It doesn't seem to be available in any supermarkets or wine stores. It's well worth ordering online. I like Shiraz wine and this is the nicest I've tasted.

Gorgeous!!
