The panels are well built and perform as expected.
This product is designed and built to be outside in the weather. The frame and front glass do not flex, they are solid and are good support for the pv cells they contain. The 100 Watts is calculated by multiplying the output voltage by the output current. Both rated voltage and rated current were produced for me on a sunny day at 37 degrees N latitude. If you are using this to charge 12 V batteries as I am then you will not get 100 Watts out of the panel because the rated voltage needed to get the 100 Watts is higher than the ~14 V used to charge the batteries. You will get the rated Amperage however it will be at the ~14 V that is being used to charge the 12 V batteries. To get the full 100 Watts you would have to go to a 24, 48 V or higher system. If you are on those type of systems then you know this already. If you are starting with a 12 V system then beware and don't expect a full 100 Watt output.Nominal output Voltage is 17.9 Vdc, Nominal output Amps is 5.6 Adc -- 17.9 x 5.6 ~ 100 WattsCharging Voltage is ~14 Vdc -> 14 x 5.6 ~ 78 Watts

Ordering My 2nd Panel
Okay so my first panel I got off eBay, and it has a slightly lower rating than this one. So I switched that panel to another chore, and decided to get a 2nd panel since this one performs higher and likely will with another. The last one I needed some small technical assistance since I was deeply confused and undereducated. Customer support was prompt, and did answer my questions. Very great experience overall. Nice panel. Nice price. Great performance for the winter. I can't wait for the summer sun!UPDATE: I'm on my third/fourth panel addition. I'm very happy with the manuals, which completely resolve some confusion that I was having regarding my equipment lining up with my panel loads, and wiring the series vs. parallel issue in real onsite wiring terms. They even show the little connections for each type of installation, I totally needed that. Very happy with WindyNation.

I'm new to solar, but this panel seems to be great...
I bought an RV with a solar panel, but no charge controller. Bought a charge controller, not the problem, the old panel was DOA. Bought this one for an off-grid camping trip, and was up and running within minutes. Very solid construction, and easy to wire into the system. It quickly and easily topped off my batteries, and it will be a lifesaver on these dry camps. As good as it works, I am tempted to buy a second to parallel, double my charge rate.

Perfect for dry camping!
This has been working great! I bought it because after about a day my battery in my travel trailer would be drained. We use led lights and the water pump off of the battery. With just a few hours of sunlight the battery is completely topped off and ready for service. I bought a second battery thinking I'd need it, but it was unnecessary. It was easy to install on top of my new trailer with basic instructions found on YouTube. We've gone through heavy rain with no problems.

The Green Machine
Clean simple energy, I bought this to replace a windyNation panel that got damaged in a storm. I was very happy that the replacement panel matched right up and insulation was a breeze. My only question is why don't more people get on board with clean, green, renewable energy. Ever since I've installed the solar and a windturbin I haven't connected my boat to shorepower, batteries are are always topped off.

Quality did not meet expectations.
While this panel does produce what it's rated for, I feel that this brand does not compare well against the Renogy panels I got two weeks ago. The frame dimensions are smaller giving less depth for mounting hardware. The wires are 12 gauge aluminum rather than 10 gauge copper. Also I had to replace an mc4 connector immediately because it had plastic flash in the tip and the barrel broke on the male connector on the first hook up. Although I did save $20 per panel compared to the Renogy's, I would not purchase this brand again.

They work great. I have three of these solar modules
I cant say enough about windynation products. They work great. I have three of these solar modules. They make more than 5 amps each. Plus windynation has great customer service. I have been using two of these, a windynation charge controller and a vertamax inverter to run a kenmore freezer and 2 fans. After Hurricane Maria there has been no electricity in PR for 52 days. Thanks windynation

Good budget panels!
Bought three panels and all but one had good input readings, one was short 35 watts. With 300watts rating and only generating 210watts total it seems reasonable.
