Very tasty cookies
The lemon cookies are sweet yet tart. A great snack

Strong bitter peel taste.
The cookies measure 2.5 X 2.5 inches square. In my hand this looks like a large cookie, in the hand of my 6'4" son, they look much less impressive, so I include the measurements for reference. Of the 5 flavors I ordered and tried, these are the flavor test results of myself and family. Lemon - None of the family cared for this one. We all agreed they are very strong and bitter. Instead of a sweet lemon or even a tart lemon, these taste more like chewing a mouthful of lemon peel. Strawberry - While they were sweet, there was not much strawberry flavor to these and most of the family thought it was more an artifical generic candy flavor rather than fruit. Raspberry*Dark Chocolate - I liked this flavor, but my family are not dark chocolate fans so the rest of them gave this one a "No thanks.". Chocolate Hazelnut - This was more to the taste of all but one of the family (who we swear was switched at birth as how can you not like chocolate?). I will be reordering this one for sure. Vanilla - This one was enjoyed by everyone and will be something on my favorites list to reorder for all to enjoy a sugar free, low carb, sweet treat. The price is about average for the current cost of anything sugar free/low carb, so while I will order a couple of the flavors in the future it will not be a regular purchase, but rather a "treat" no and again. Choc Zero is a brand we have been trying a lot of and we are finding more than a few things we really like.

Sold On The Flavor
I ordered 2 boxes of the peanut butter, one box each of the raspberry chocolate and then the lemon. The lemon is the only one I have sampled as they literally arrived 15 minutes ago. It really like the lemon. It isn't so sweet it makes you teeth hurt but also isn't bitter like some lemon can get if it isn't sweetened enough. I would readily reorder these and recommend them to other people. Now to talk about the packing. These come in shelf display style paperboard boxes; very thin and very fragile. As I said, I ordered 4 boxes. They were sent in a heavy-duty brown paper shipping bag. There was no bubble wrap or other type of insulation to buffer the boxes from the wear and tear of the mailing/shipping handling process. And so, the bag all but fell apart as I was opening it as it had multiple tears in it, some that had been taped over. So, the boxes look bad for all that rough handling, and lemon box had the display cover torn off. In spite of that, the one I sampled wasn't broken up or crumbly around the corners as I was fearful it would be. I will update this if I run across such problems on further opening of more of the snack bars.

Great paired with a cup of black tea. YUM!
I chose this product because I love drinking black tea and having a lemon cookie...my favorite mid day treat. But I don't want the sugar ladened cookie so I thought I would try Rip Van's Lemon Wafer cookie and it is perfect. it is big enough for a one cookie snack, lemony enough to pair nicely with black tea and light enough to not put me to sleep. Low carb eating has helped me maintain energy thoroughout my day and keep the weight off. All I had to do is tweak my health, but high carb, way of eating and I appreciate there are companies that give me alternatives to things I have grown accustom too. There reason I did not give it 5 stars is there is a slight aftertaste which I bet is the stevia. I love stevia but not a fan of the aftertaste. but it is very slight and I did have this cookie without the black tea. I just got the box in the mail and I couldn't wait to try it. I will definately buy this again and again. It would be perfect if it had a vanilla or lemon icing drizzled on it AND maybe swap out the stevia with allulose or another keto sweetener. But again, it is so minor, I almost do not want to bring it up. However, I want this to be a thorough review.

Some Good, Some Not
I bought the Chocolate Hazelnut and Lemon flavors. The Lemon doesn't taste good at all! But the Chocolate Hazelnut was very good.
