I like it
5 stars. Polypodium L. Is a powerful antioxidant that is photoprotective, it protects skin from reactions to the sun. For melasma it is recommended by the melasma clinic to take in the morning and afternoon along with niacinamide at the same time and use spf. in the morning and reapply midday. Additionally, I’ve been applying Kojic acid at night. I’ve been doing this for 1 week and already it appears to be helping.

Comparison to branded herb
This has the same herbal ingredient as the brand name Heliocare but for less. I am comparing my response to this herb to see if it will provide me the same protection. At this time it is too early to say if it provides me the same protection.

Lightened my facial liver spots 80%
Lightened my dark spots on my face. It did not remove it completely, but I did not expect it to. It lightened my dark spots 80% taking 1000 mg a day which is two capsules

Made my skin worse?
Not only did these not protect my skin, but they also gave me a red rash on arms when bicycling. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing another bottle. I hope fellow Amazonians have better results. Update: The company reached out to me and offered me a refund. It's nice to see a company that cares for its customers. I bumped it up to 3 stars. It's unfortunate that my body reacted poorly to the Polypodium Leucotomos.

works if you continue to repeat dosages during the day as directed
Delighted to find this product but it does require paying attention to directions and repeated dosing during sun exposure for maximal results
