pricey but worth it.
Have a vent under a new kitchen cabinet that needed to reroute to the toe kick. It does just that. Came pre installed, and did the work. A bit pricey but compare to the electricity overtime, it’s all ok.

Proper toe kick duct
Our kitchen sink is set in a corner cabinet with an AC/heater air duct vent centered in the cabinets toe kick. Our home builder just set a sheet metal duct made for venting ovens on the floor to serve as a vent without securing it, so air leaked all over the cabinet. When I saw this product during an unexpected kitchen renovation resulting from a dishwasher leak, I knew this would resolve the leaky air vent issue. I like that it comes assembled and ready to set in place with sheet metal screw fasteners. It was so much easier to install than I expected! I could right away feel the difference with the air flowing through the duct vent instead of all over the sink base corner. If you have a similar cabinet toe kick vent situation, this vent is worth getting, in my opinion. You can even use special metal duct tape to tape over the edges after installation to really seal the air in the duct. It's very DIY friendly. Be very careful of the product edges, though. I cut myself on an edge while removing it from the shipping box. We'll let our cabinet installer add the toe kick portion to this duct area.

Expensive
Went together just fine and operated as advertised, but expensive. The parts are cheap, price wise, at big box stores, BUT, these are made for a specific configuration and as such you get what you paid for. In this case at a premium.

Works like a charm
We had a remodel of our kitchen - discovered mold under cabinet because the vent was just emptying right into the empty space - so we used this from the floor to the front of the cabinet - worked perfectly. Silicone around it to make the seal strong and prevent any leakage

When you need to do it...
There used to be a wall here, including the HVAC duct for the dining room. I wanted to expand the kitchen about half a foot for an optimum cabinet layout, and needed a solution for this duct. I researched this option in advance, and it seemed like it would work. I showed it to my contractor, and he was impressed. In this case, because it's under the sink, they had to leave the bottom board of the cabinet out until near-completion to finish the plumbing (and have exact measurements for the cuts for the pipes), so the installation was easy from inside the cabinet.I do wish that the wall plate had fins, but it's a little smaller than the previous vent, so ultimately it works out (opening the kitchen to the dining room means that there's better air flow, so the dining room doesn't need as much space conditioning, but we do what we can when making radical changes to older homes...). If you can fabricate something yourself, then this might be spendy, but I moved another duct, and the cost to fabricate was...impressive, so if you ask someone to make something like this, you'll spend this much or more!

Easy to install
Well made and easy to install. Should keep my tootsies nice and warm while doing the dishes. I tried to make my own and ended up just wasting materials. Definitely purchase it instead of trying to DIY.

Did the trick...but expensive
So this is really just a piece of flexible duct and some sheet metal so the cost ($100 when I ordered it) seems a bit high but it did the trick perfectly so I guess it was well spent.I did not use it on a floor duct. I used it to extend a vent that my new entertainment center was blocking. I removed the wall register, screwed this over the open duct and routed it under the entertainment center. It was the only product i could find that would do this because of the unique situation I found myself in and I was not inclined to open the wall and re-route the ductwork over several studs. Highly recommended. The improvement I would make is to include a register cover in the box that fits the outlet since I have to spend another $20 at HD to get a 2x12" register cover on top of the cost of the toeductor.

Pricey but Works
This was a bit more than I wanted to spend but at least all the parts are put together. All you need to do is fasten it to the floor. When I get the new kitchen cabinets put in all they have to do is put the other end at the base (toe kick) of the cabinet. I couldn't find this item at Home Depot or Lowe's but wasn't surprised to find it on Amazon.
