BBP DSLR Camera Insert, Make Your Own Camera Bag - Blue

Perfect insert for carrying camera gear in a messenger bag. It's well made with self standing sides and you can attach the dividers on the sides or at the ends. I actually bought this as an insert for a carry on bag to give protection for my CPAP machine and it fits perfectly! I think this insert can be used to protect a variety of electronic items. It's really nice. 5 stars all around!

I like this insert, it fits well in my backpack,and holds the stuff I usually carry. the only thing i don't like is that the side aren't ridged enough, when I'm putting thing into it the side tend to fold in so you have to guide the camera or spare lens in with your hand to prop up the side as you fill it. but its not that big of a deal

The lid cannot be secured, so whatever is in the insert can fall out. Otherwise, it would have been acceptable.

It is a nice idea but it was not rigid enough for what I was looking for. The top stays open all of the time and the netting is very loose when you put objects into that area.

I wanted to love this thing. And as a person with lots of tote bags and large purses who also loves toting around a dSLR camera much of the time, I suppose I do. It stands up well in bags, holds a disassembled dSLR well, and protects everything. The dividers can be moved around slightly. But it could be better as a stow-and-go option. My main complaint is that you can't rearrange the dividers as much as I imagined -- the velcro is designed to limit your options. I was imagining I could create different storage scenarios allowing me to leave my camera assembled with a convenient lens and pop it in and out, but the only way to really do that was to put the camera nose down in the middle section and let it sort of squash down the dividers on either side. I know it is better to store it disassembled but to be honest for vacation toting around that's just not practical for me. I'm glad I brought this on vacation but it made my bag very bulky and actually held less than I imagined it would. Not terrible, and a good price, but not amazing either.

Not wanting to buy a special camera carry on case, as they are not good at handling both camera, lenses and a 17" Macbook Pro, I thought I'd give these a try. They worked perfect. Not too much padding, actually a little light, but sense I already had foam covers for my lenses and camera there was enough. I reduced the size in half of needed space (see photos above) and now with a sleeve on my computer I even have more room to spare. These are tools to make what you need so either they fit your needs or they don't. They fit mine in excellent fashion.

There needs to be more velcro so things dont fly out of the sections you create with the divider. Also a zipper around the flap would help immensely. Good enough not to return. I wouldn't buy it again however.

Padding is great & stiff to hold shape, shipping was very fast & product was just as described. The dividers can be moved around the bag to fit any camera or lens. I have a Cannon Rebel 3T & fit it with the small lens, a big lens, then there is room for my cleaning tools, SC cards, and the top pockets for my lens covers.
