Ergonomic and powerful
What a great little iron! It's lightweight and feels almost self-propelling, so it's actually fun to use and not at all tiring. But the power this baby puts out is amazing: I tried it on the highest setting with maximum steam for a couple of cotton shirts and on a lower setting with no steam for a synthetic one, and it got everything completely smooth and wrinkle-free in record time; no leakage, either. I hope this thing lasts, because I love it!

Love this iron
I ordered an $40 iron (different brand) with good reviews and by the second time I used it I hated the ceramic soleplate and digital screen. I ordered this Black & Decker stainless steel soleplate iron and love it. It glides over fabric and is light weight. I never put water in my iron and prefer a spray bottle with distilled water for removing wrinkles, so I can't review the steam features. I prefer the manual dial for the heat setting over a digital screen. This iron heats fast, irons well, is a great value for the price, and I'm very pleased with it.

Good For Money
Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)Following additional usage and consideration, I'm providing an updated review for the textile iron, taking into account various factors, including its affordability, basic features, and the notable limitation of its steam function. Here's a balanced assessment:Limited Steam Functionality: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)The textile iron's most significant drawback remains its limited steam output, which affects its ability to handle stubborn wrinkles and heavier fabrics effectively. While it struggles with these tasks, it's still serviceable for lighter ironing needs.Basic Features and Affordability: ★★★★☆ (4/5)The iron retains its affordability, adjustable temperature settings, lightweight design, and fundamental features. For straightforward ironing tasks and those on a budget, it continues to offer reasonable value.Value Considerations: ★★★★☆ (4/5)Considering its lower price point and basic functionality, the textile iron can still be seen as a valuable option, especially for individuals seeking a budget-friendly choice. However, its steam limitations mean that it may not fully meet the needs of those with more demanding ironing requirements. In summary, the textile iron offers affordability and basic features, but its limited steam functionality remains a notable drawback. While it may not excel in handling tougher ironing tasks, it can still serve adequately for lighter needs. If you prioritize budget-friendliness and don't rely heavily on steam, this iron may suit your requirements. However, if your ironing demands include dealing with stubborn wrinkles or heavier fabrics, it's advisable to explore options with stronger steam capabilities. The overall rating reflects a balanced assessment that acknowledges both its affordability and its limitations.

Good value -- good performance
I had an iron like this and it lasted for years despite frequent use. I made the mistake of replacing it with a pricier one that was very heavy, had a user unfriendly dial and it leaked! This is worth the money, has an easy to use, easy to read dial so you know how much heat/steam you're getting and is heavy enough to iron sheets, etc. Performs well.

Ironing Is Fun!
Clearly I have held on to my old iron way too long. I am very pleased with the light weight and stainless steel surface plate. The iron heats up quickly and provides smooth results. Love it! Who knew ironing could be fun?

Good iron for the price
Nice steam iron, light weight and with the stainless sole plate, it glides nicely on fabric. The only thing I don't like is the dark plastic water reservoir- the darkness prevent you from seeing the water level.
