Love my little Maxx
It has essentially all the features of robots that cost nearly 10x as much. I've only run him once, but he did an excellent job with very acceptable caveats:1. He got stuck on a very thick speaker wire that wasn't taped to the floor, so it moved it off the floor. The rest of my floor cords are taped.2. He choked on a paper towel. Remove larger papers from the floor before running him.3. He didn't choke on my yoga mat, but he did move slowly and was clearly trying to suck it in, so I moved it off the floor.4. His whiskers and mouth were stuffed with hair before his battery ran out. They were easily cleared and he continued running.5. He needs to be relatively (a couple of feet) near his base before he can find it. Once he does his low-battery beep, drive him there with the remote then hit the dedicated dock button.Hopefully he will continue to work. For now I'm completely happy. I'd considered getting an LG Hom-Bot for years, but the price/performance ratio just wasn't acceptable.I've only run him in auto mode, and used the remote to go to specific spots. His auto mode is excellent, and will detect then clean around table legs, entryways, and other physical features. It's actually pretty cool to watch him, kind of an intelligent purposeful chaos.

Don't buy something else like it you will hate this product.
had it for two day. It does clean pretty well and picks up a good amount. It not good at all on any type of carpet for me. i have a door mat that it get stuck on. It get stuck in a lot of places. I have tile and wood floor that have wood piece in between them. it get stuck on it every time. You have to have nothing on the floor for it to work. Rugs will just get it stuck. I spent more time picking it up and moving robo then if I vacuumed myself. Also it doesn't turn off when you pick it up. The wheels got my finger a couple of time but it didn't hurt. If a little kid picks it up it could be different. Also backing up to the charger is super annoying. When backing up it make loud beep and takes forever.Edit: So i remove all rugs and just tile and hard wood. Still gets stuck for no reason. I have a little wood strip between the tile and wood. It just sit there and stay on. It also got stuck between room corners. It has sensors on it or something that get stuck under dinner table chairs. It not even close to hitting the edges and just go around in a circle forever.so i got tired of it. not worth the cost at all. i bought a irobot. irobot is a beast and does everything i need. It picked up twice as much and was able to drive over rugs and mostly everything. It made the robo maxx look cheap and non working. The price 129 will not recommend or buy again. I would recommend spend a little bit more money for a better product.

It is pretty quiet and picks up the little stuff from the ...
It's ok. The battery doesn't last very long and it doesn't go back to the docking station by itself. The remote works on and off. It has a difficult time going over the edge of the area rug and door jams but it does a decent job. It is pretty quiet and picks up the little stuff from the floor. We have tile and wood floors so it cleans up under stuff pretty well. I like having the two brushes a lot better than one bristle. For the price, it was worth it for me.

Good at the beginning (two first weeks) now is not working!!!
At the beginning It was a perfect help for me. I was so excited for that effectiveness, but that happiness, only was for the first two weeks, daily use two rounds for small home was enough, every cycle I just clean up to avoid forcing to work full of dust... now in the third week, after few minutes of starting the brushes doesn't move at all and go back to the station, and literally it is not working.Even If I turn it off then turn in on, to make it works this device the problem still persist.****No good news battery is over ... and there is not replacement available in the market. If somebody knows please let me know. Thanks

they are really happy with them
I bought two of these for Mothers Day for my Daughter and Daughter in law, they are really happy with them, they say they run them every time they are charged and ready to go again. They don't work on carpet, but are fair on tile and wood floors.

Just Fair
It's okay. I read the posted reviews and they were mostly very high, so I was disappointed with the cleaning power of this item. I seriously debated returning it, but the Roomba's are SO expensive that I decided for the money I can't expect miracles. So I kept it, and use it somewhat. It does pick up the dog hair, which is primarily why I bought it, but it passes right over pieces of dead grass and other small things, especially if it's in the grout. I won't recommend or buy again.

but easy get struck and wedge under things
Clean well, but easy get struck and wedge under things. You pretty much have to supervise it to actually do
