Poor connections asking for multiple soft silicon washers on the outlet that bulge cutting off flow to about 1/2”. Should have included a harder washer with this metal connector that does not bulge so much. Shaving the silicon washer after attaching your NPT adapter helps. I was looking for a 20PSI or 30PSI increase from a starting pressure of 3-5PSI. Cut screw can’t reduce the pressure at all below 40 psi as advertised unfortunately. Even if fully unscrewing the flathead bolt. (Not Phillips head per instructions) . Guessing the 20-30PSI adjustment screw only works when you start at 20PSI and want to keep at 40-45PSI minimum.

Can’t regulate cut out pressure ( too high for resistance domestic water pressure) poor quality connections and didn’t last a year before the seal went. I have filtered/softened water so water quality should not affect it.

Moter did not work spent several hours hooking everything up really bad user manual finally no leaks plugged moter in would not start very disappointed went back over everything still moter would not start Ihad waited 3 weeks for the moter to get hear I couldn't wait another 3 weeks to get water decided to open control box most of the wires were not tight went over all connections worked about 4 times then quit found the capacitor to be bad replaced with a larger capacitor so far it's worked one day VERY DISAPPOINTED with purchase quality of workmanship very bad if I would have had to pay a plumber I would be mad would not recommend by any means

This is a good pump. I like the fact that it is stainless steel. You get a lot on this small pump, with a pressure switch and gauge. It can automatically come on and off for you so that if you are using it for a booster, it can kick in to make sure you are getting constant pressure and the right pressure. It is relatively heavy, but that lends to it being able to pump out up to 16 gallons of water a minute. It doesn’t take long to put it into action, it’s just a matter of connecting the pipes and plugging it in. The one negative I would say is at its full price it is not competitive to other pumps out there. Other pumps right now can have a bigger motor and a tank for less money. So, I would check to see if it’s on sale first. Overall, it is a strong pump that will definitely move a lot of water through your garden hose.

The Moonshan 3/4 HP Water Pressure Booster Pump received is very nicely built. It's small and light enough to be easy to move, yet packs plenty of punch and is very quiet when running. It works well for my use as an irrigation pump. I did find that in order to get the best output it needs a 1" suction line, but it does decently well using a 3/4" line. The bladder tank was only charged to 20 psi so I added some air and it keeps it from short cycling to a degree. The stainless steel in and outlet fittings have silicone seals so any adapters tighten into the seals and they don't leak at all. It makes it easy to install without any hassle. Extra seals were included as well. It's a nicely built and versatile pump that I'm pretty happy with, and it sells at a decent price for a pump of this type.

I went to use mine again after four months of inactivity, and it blew a fuse. Some sort of short inside. Trash. Avoid. Go to supplyhouse, they have similar units for a little bit more that should last longer

This is a great pump. Stainless steel is shiny and high end. Auto on/off function is convenient. Pressure gauge is a good feature. Strong and powerful, this pump is easy to install and use. Should last a long time so very happy.
