Decent read
It was a simple read, one could find a lot of similar experiences in real life too. But I find the story a bit... Not captivating or addictive. It was a decent one time read. Not something one would go for again though.

“A Simple Yet Soulful Journey – Review of Can We Be Strangers Again by Shrijeet Shandilya”
Can We Be Strangers Again is a beautifully written story that captures the complexities of love, loss, and emotional healing with simple yet touching language. The writing style is very easy to follow, which makes the book accessible to all kinds of readers — whether you’re a casual reader or someone who reads often. What really stood out for me was the first-person narrative. The author’s personal tone made it easier to connect with the emotions and experiences of the protagonist. It felt as if a friend was telling their story — raw, honest, and relatable. The ending was unexpected. I had imagined it might go a different way, but the conclusion the author gave brought a sense of peace and emotional satisfaction. It leaves you with a warm feeling, even if it’s bittersweet. The characters were written in a way that felt very real. Nothing seemed over-the-top or forced. Their emotions, decisions, and growth throughout the story felt genuine and easy to understand. This simplicity is what makes the book special — it’s emotionally deep without being complicated. Overall, Can We Be Strangers Again is a heartfelt read that quietly stays with you. It’s a story of connections, letting go, and finding yourself again — and it does all this with honesty and grace.

Its okayish break up story
All characters are one dimensional. The plot twists are predictable. I guess its apt for a quick read and would cater to Chetan Bhagat’s audience.

Not completely English
It came wrapped in plastic, so it was good quality. It's a very small book, not that many chapters and the chapters are very short. I was so excited to start read it, due to all the good recommendations. I am not done reading it, since the conversations in the book is in the authors native language without any translation. I think it's really odd and it was not specified when buying the book.

0.5/5
It’s like reading an emotionally immature person’s rant.
