I was very skeptical using a red shade with no base coat because my nails ALWAYS stain with reds... however... this did not stain at all! I haven't tested it's full longevity yet but after 3 days there were no chips in the varnish at all (all different nail varnishes regularly chip after a day or 2 on my nails so this is a very good sign)Being able to do my nails in 2 coats rather than a total of 4 when using a base and top coat has made such a difference! Paloma was a disaster - The colour is more dead salmon or sallow flesh tone than the pretty peach tone in the photos and it went on really clumpy. Miley is a perfect, bright pretty mid pink that went on easily (without any nail prep) and has looked great for a week so far. Giselle is even prettier on the nail - a perfect pastel true blue.
