WestbrassFine or Coarse Thread Replacement Tip-Toe Strainer Drain with 2-Hole Faceplate, Matte Black, D93K-62

The bathtub drain kits are beautiful, but the color is mislabeled. Twice now, I received the drain kit labeled as antique brass, but this is not what is in the package. I took pictures of both next to actual 'antique' look brass sink drain. As you can see, neither comes close to remotely matching with antique brass fixtures.

I was a bit worried as the top threads to my tub drain were destroyed. It took a good bit of patience and time but once it started it went on smooth and easy.

The quality looks good. I ended up not installing but returning it because my pipe has coarse thread (1-1/2 in. NPSM) and I was concerned that if I installed the drain using the adapter included, it would possibly be a pain to unscrew the adapter the next time I had to uninstall it.I bought another trim kit with coarse thread from a different brand at less than half the price, but the build quality was noticeably inferior. Though, I would say the one from Westbrass is still a bit overpriced.

These items were very well-made, easy to install, we’re a great value for the money and the finish was bright. They renewed an old bathtub.

Purchased two sets in black for two bathrooms. Easy installation with plumbing multi tool. Looks great. Only issue is durability. The paint came off of the faceplate screws on both sets during the installation to reveal the metal/gold color below the black coating. Not too confident that the coating will hold up long term.

I really like this drain. I like the push button functionality, and it was easy to install. I purchased a second one which was no different. Two thumbs up.

Great features are that it is a push-close drain and that it comes with a thread adapter.It is not a true matter black however, and has a faint brown tinge to it in the light. It is far enough away from our other black fixtures you can't really notice the difference in black unless you're staring at them when soaking in the tub.

Item sees only light use and does not seal properly.

This was exactly what we needed and we were thrilled to find it online. It would have taken weeks to special order in store and would have arrived too late for our contractor. It matches our matte black moen shower fixtures perfectly!

After a year the finish started to come off. It will have to be changed. Have had trouble with this company and they don’t stand behind their product. They assume the customer is line regardless of the evidence you send them
