The science is sound
Magnets are quite strong but North is not marked not sure if it's important! Easy fitting.

The magnets appear to be rather strong for the small size, and should polarize the water, but not soften the water.

Very strong magnets
Arrived promptly wrapped up in a piece of cardboard. Extremely strong magnets that will pinch your skin if you get it caught between 2 of them. No definitive instructions as to whether they would work on plastic piping so I have used a longer cable tie to put them round a cold water pipe. No idea yet whether they are making a difference, I suppose only time will tell.

Disappointed, really wanted them to work
I really wanted these to work, they are really strong magnets so I have given 2* as the product is good quality.They just don't manage to reduce limescale at all in my area, I live in an area classed as very hard water so I was expecting some impact.I have added 2 pictures to this review, I descaled the kettle so it was clear, then took a picture after 10 days. Then installed the magnets and did the same again. As I'm sure you will agree there isn't really any difference between them.

Stopcock magic with hope attached.
I don't actually know if its working or not. The magnets were fairly easy to install. I am hoping over time they will work their magic and clear the water of all its elements and I will again be able to turn off my stopcock instead of doing from outside on the pavement. If it does the trick I will re-write this review. I will try and turn it every day hopefully it will soon work. Since writing this I have been surprised that my shower is really good and the water runs freely and the temperature is even - must be TurboMag. Superb and very grateful.

I hope they work!
Got these in the hope they reduce the limescale build up in my electric shower, since I live in a hard water area. They've been fitted to the shower feed for the past month or so and it seems to have improved things. I only need to declog the shower head every other week now instead of every week!

May work but much smaller than expected
Will be amazed if these work as was expecting some chunky industrial magnets and was concerned would fit in limited space around the pipes. They are tiny. And until they work (or not) that leads me to think these are expensive too. They weigh 14g each. I was sceptical anyway and bought one alternative magnet to use elsewhere which is split into two halves and stays on because it sticks to the other half wrapping completely around the pipe. It was the same equivalent price for one but was substantially heavier. Who knows maybe these are super strength
