Lowsy the seller doesn't tell you the difference between the colors of the insoles.I had to find out the hard way. Probably to garner sales. These are hard firm arches. Top portion is bendable. Good for people with flat feet or callapsable arches.Red = Wide and the thickest out of the three. Arch is 15/16 inch. Makes socks red.Grey = Medium. Average thickness. Arch is 18/16 inch.Black = Thinest of the three. Arch is 18/16 inch.

Has helped me a LOT
Good: It works! Damped down my plantar fasciitis within a few days, and I'm sure it's been instrumental in the gradual healing of same. Symptoms are reduced probably 75% in the two months I've used them. Much more effective than the drugstore insoles I've tried.Bad: They tend to wander a little, and this can be a problem because the arch supports can be a little too firm at times, even for my high arches. I have to adjust the insoles to get *just* the right placement if I plan to walk more than a block or so. A little tackiness on the bottom to keep them in place would be a plus.Bottom line: Given the degree to which my PF has eased with these insoles, I can easily live with the morning realignments. I'll be buying at least one more pair. Five stars.

Sturdy support / Shaped for flat feet / Run a bit small
I tried many orthotics and ended up ordering these. They are indeed on the harder side and have very high arches — 3cm — but they provide sturdy support which is the most important for someone like me with flat feet. I was looking specifically for this shape, because my podiatrist gave me similar insoles. They are not very high on the outer side (around the heel area) compared to other more u-shaped insoles. This made a huge difference for me. They are a bit on the shorter side, so I ended up reordering one size bigger. They can be trimmed anyway. I tried black and grey, but couldn’t find any conceptual difference — so I chose grey from practical considerations. Had no problems with returns. I tried wearing orthotics a few years ago, but went for quite high arches from the start, which was very painful and I gave up. I gave it another try recently, but first asked a podiatrist about the right shape for me, which was a good idea. He also recommended to ramp up slowly and wear them for an hour or so a day. Overall, if you have flat feet and looking for orthotics, I can recommend these.

Amazing!
These are the only insoles that are truly comfortable, durable, and actually help my plantar fasciitis. I've been using these for about a year, I have several pairs of these in just about all my shoes. I use to spend $60 for the Lynco by Aetrex, not as good and over priced. Glad I found these because the only shoe store in our mall that sold Lynco or comfort shoes in general went out of business.

Quality product
I bought these for my son who has fallen arches and difficulties with his ankles. That Dr recommended we get inserts as a first attempt to help. These for my son's shoes without any adjustments. The arch support is defined. So far so good. I'm not sure it will fix all our orthopedic problems but it does the job they are intended for.

Great quality and affordability.
Began wearing these every day two weeks ago and they were terrific from the very start and have made all the difference in the world. Super supportive, lightweight and comfortable temperature-wise. They cost much less than my previous favorite insoles, take up less room in my shoes, don't weigh as much AND Fit my feet better. Highly recommend!
