Helpful vitamin, easy to swallow. Useful for bone and muscle pain. Also the price is quite fair. I would recommend this product.

I've been using Puritan's Pride tumeric for over 10 years. It offers protection against inflammation. The price is more than competitive.

I'm not a herbal/holistic/natural healer type of person - but I had a badly sprained ankle that had persistent swelling that lasted for many months. Even after the ankle itself had healed it would still swell up a bit after every run and the swelling would sometimes go down into my foot. I figured some turmeric can't hurt so I gave it a try. It took a few weeks to work but the swelling completely disappeared! About 18 months after the injury I sprained the other ankle and started taking turmeric right away. Even though this injury swelled much more than the prior injury, the swelling was almost completely gone only 3 weeks later, and I don't get any re-swelling after running. I didn't see any other benefits so will only it take as-needed to reduce swelling after injury.

I started taking these with some skepticism, but I'm a convert! I've gone about halfway through the bottle and have a noticeable reduction in joint discomfort. I have bad knees, and being only 31, have already torn my meniscus a few times in my lifetime. The most recent tear never seemed to have healed completely and left me with weakness and stiffness, as well as crepitus. I couldn't sit for long periods without discomfort, and forget about squatting! I alternate between taking 1 and 2 pills a day with food and plenty of water. These pills are very large, but that doesn't bother me as I don't have difficulty swallowing pills. I do like that these have a higher dosage of active ingredients per pill than others, so even if they are huge, i get more bang for my buck. I will continue to use this product.

I could write a book on how this product has enhanced my health. You have to take it every day, and over time, it increases your sense of well-being and removes the painful inflammation that comes with virtually every disease. If I have an injury, I take extra and never need the normal OTC pain relievers. Injuries heal much more quickly. The symptoms if arthritis are diminished greatly. The only precautions I would mention is that it is a slight blood thinner, and it increases thirst a little. I started taking this before it became popular and I never want to be without it. Friends and family I have recommended it to love it as well. If you take another brand, be sure it has the bioperine in it.

I have chronic pain including arthritis pain with chronic inflammation, I have tried several different turmeric products but this brand is the most effective anti-inflammatory product for me. It works really well. The 1000 mg dose is a very large pill where as the 500 mg dose is half the size. If you have trouble swallowing pills I would recommend the 500 mg dose pill. I take 1000 mg every 12 hours everyday. Before this product I was taking NSAIDs and or Tylenol multiple times everyday, I now only have to use the turmeric on a daily basis and occasionally take an NSAID or Tylenol if I have a flare in pain symptoms.
