I purchased one of the amber bulbs late august and have been using nightly for 3 hours average daily in a table lamp since early September, so 5 months now. My husband and I really like the yellow light this bulb emits. It’s so gentle on the eyes and has a calming effect compared to our soft white bulbs. It is a bit dimmer than those soft white bulbs we’ve used, which means reading at night is not possible unless we are reading next to the table with the lamp, but that’s a sacrifice that’s worth it to us in order to reduce the blue light in our home at night. I’m going to be purchasing two more for our other lamps. They appear to be good quality and I wanted to wait to purchase more until I could be sure they would last long enough to be worth the cost. And they are!

I use this Neporal Red Light Bulb every night, and I love it. The soft red glow is so relaxing and makes winding down in the evening way easier. It blocks all the harsh blue light, so my room feels calmer and more sleep-friendly. It’s easy to install, not too bright, and just creates a really cozy vibe. Honestly, it’s become a small but essential part of my nightly routine.

I put one of these in a lamp in my bedroom so that when I get ready for bed, the lighting is already optimized for sleep. It is possible to read with this light on, however I also have a red book light, just in case. The red light isn't bright enough for other nighttime activities, but it's fine for "winding down." Although it's not bright, you will want to turn it off before you fall asleep. I'm not sure about the benefits between different nanometers of red light, nor if those properties are altered by the lampshade, but this bulb seems totally appropriate for a bedside lamp, and hopefully it's improving my sleep health, also.

They give off a nice deep red/orange glow but the color is too intense for internal use in my experience. I really wanted to find some gentle, warm yellow/orange lights to use inside. I wanted that cozy fireplace light. These were not it. They are fine otherwise. They might even be fine to use indoors if you have a much larger home with darker walls. I have a small apartment with white walls and it was just too much.

These are different from other color bulbs; rather than a source inside the bulb releasing a wide spectrum of (white) light, and depending on the coating or color of bulb shell to reduce the light extending into the environment, these bulbs use an LED source that produces no short wavelength (UV, violet, blue) light, only a narrow range of red light, so the bulb shell is colorless. The bulb is white-looking when off, but producing only red light when on. Traditional red bulbs leak lots of UV and Blue light that attract insects; this technology avoids that. We live in a wooded lot next to a lake; insects gather at the outdoor lights on our house, and that brings spiders, making webbing in and around the fixtures including our siding! And piles of insect body parts accumulate everywhere! Traditional “bug lights” were not helping. But these new bulbs this late summer and early fall have put an end to the cleaning chores! So next season we will try the amber version of this technology. Remember that a bulb that shows color while in the packaging is probably old-style filtration technology that may not work at all. The seller was very helpful in making our purchasing right, so service was outstanding by direct email.

These bulbs are well worth it, they make the room a nice soft like relaxing , very calming and you can see very good with these also. Good for the eyes and would help with sleep..

I'm not sure if I love the color they ended up being. They ended up being darker than I had expected. They were a little expensive for what they ended up being, but they were the correct size and definitely did their job of functioning. I've had them in my lamp for awhile and they don't even seem to be dimming. Definitely will last you awhile. Overall, good product, just not a fan of the color and don't think the pictures are an accurate representation.

The blub provides a nice red colour which helps put one in a relaxing mood.

These lights are great for reading and relaxing before bed. I find easier to fall asleep. It been about three months with no issues
