5/5 Rating Easily the BEST humidifier on the market. First off I love Dreo products as they easy to intgrate and use via your app / tablets. As for this humidifier, this thing is a BEAST. it hold 8 liters which is about 2.1 Gallons of water. The display is beautiful and draws attention in your home. You have multiple settings, you can choose warm or cool mist. You can also choose 1-3 as far as the steam level. Level 3 shoots the steam easily 5-6 feet into the air to help cover the room. Once you turn this thing on, you will notice almost an immediate difference. It's fairly cool now as Winter months are just starting, this along with 70 degree home temperature makes my home very compfortable. The amount of steam and moisture it puts into the air makes the room more comfortable and helps eliminate the dryness in my skin. I can't believe I did not buy this sooner. Pros Super easy to use Large Water Reservoir Can be controlled via the Dreo app Tons of functionality in the app Cons It really doesn't last 80 Hrs or so, if you use the highest setting you'll be lucky to get a day out of it. I've had mine on almost non stop since getting it.

Update - I had previously stated that Google home only allows on/off control. I was wrong and I found where you can also control the same settings you can find in the dreo app Best dehumidifier I've used to far. It's obscenely quiet, to the point you'll question if it's even working if you're not in an area you can easily see the mist. Build quality is great, everything is sturdy, comes apart, and puts back together easy. The design is gorgeous, something you genuinely wouldn't mind having visible and being seen. The dreo app is surprisingly well put together, easy to use, and so far without issue. It communicates quickly with the humidifier, even if you aren't on the same network.

Love this humidifier. My old one did not get the humidity up with the pellet stove or furnace running and it blew cold air at you all the time .This unit does very good not heating the water it has 3 settings on cool and also if needed 3 settings on heat and you can get it very high humidity .It is very easy to fill no need to move and carry it,I use gallon jugs I fill will my filter water and set them aside ahead of time so the water is room temperature . Using filter water should make it easy to clean and no need to spend big bucks on filters . It also lightly blows the humidity up and is directional back and forward about 30 degrees. We and the dog love it!

This humidifier runs both warm and cool cycles. Installation was a breeze and took no time at all. Once you touch the power icon, the instrument panel comes alive. We've run it now for several nights in our bedroom, and it's very quiet. Just a gentle hum if you listen for it. It's listed as having 80 hour run time. This may be true, but I'd guess that's with all the settings set to their minimum levels. I typically start the humidifier around 9:00 pm and shut it off around 8:00 am the following morning. I'm running at level 2 fan and warm setting. I've been able to run it 2 nights in a row, and by the second morning, the tank was virtually empty. So for me, that was only 22 hours. But, that's fine as it's about twice what our old humidifier would do. I've found that the panel lights are a little too bright to leave on overnight, so I shut them off. It would be nice if they were dimmable. Overall, I like this humidifier and would recommend it.

If you google what a "warm mist" humidifier is, it says it uses an internal heating element to boil water, releasing steam or warm vapor into the air. This Dreo was advertised as being able to *switch* between warm mist and cool mist but, as far as I can tell, they are just playing with semantics and not using the commonly accepted meaning of these terms. The ultrasonic part *never turns off*, but there’s a little heater that warms up the cool mist to make it warm. At least it doesn’t feel clammy, but you get all the disadvantages of “cool mist” plus a higher electric bill. There are Important functional differences in how warm and cool mist humidifiers create moisture. Cool mist (aka ultrasonic) humidifiers vaporize the minerals in the water and disperse them as a fine white dust, so either you use $1.50/gallon distilled water or you put up with the dust. Warm mist humidifiers boil the water to make steam, leaving the minerals on the heat plate (which you have to clean regularly), allowing you to use tap water. I can’t stand the mineral dust everywhere, and also like that boiling the water prevents it from dispersing any germs or mold from the water. Sure, warm mist humidifiers use more energy, but the increased cost is far less than the cost (and nuisance) of buying the 2 gallons of distilled water I would go through every day. I also have asthma and don’t want to be breathing those minerals in, so I specifically searched for a “warm mist” humidifier, like my 20+ year old Honeywell that just stopped working reliably. This Dreo humidifier is not what has traditionally been meant by a warm mist humidifier. Heating up the ultrasonic mist and calling it “warm mist” is a deceptive marketing trick. It’s going back. If you’re looking for an ultrasonic humidifier, it seems fine, though I found the controls far from easy to use.

Smart features are perfect, functions perfectly as you'd expect a humidifier to work. but Dreo really need to work on their quality control. I have purchase two different sized humidifiers from them. the smaller one had a crack in it from the factory. Some one on the line must have dropped the tank and not noticed the crack and packaged it up and sent it out. no damage to the box from shipping. The second one just leaked from the seems. I'm guessing not enough glue or whatever to seal the two parts of the tank together. I had to use uv resin around thye entire bottom seem of the tank to fix it.

Haven't bought a humidifier in years... I have been missing out. I love this humidifier!! Very quite,easy cleaning, love the app control, change from hot to cool in one step, great mist output. You can change the lighting color to whatever you like. The refill is easy..handle comes on the tank for easy carrying. The controls are also on the front of the machine for quick tap.. my plants love the humidifier too 😁

I recently moved to AZ and needed to add humidity for several of my plants. I love the DREO 8L smart humidifier. I placed this in a cabinet for my topical plants. I can adjust and control the humidity from the app wherever I am. I recently went on a 2 week trip and did not have anyone stop by to add water to the reservoir and I still had water in there for another 2 day. I love that I can set the humidity and it will only turn on when the humidity drops below the threshold. You can even set a schedule in the app if you wish. The app made it easy to use and if I purchase anymore cabinets to turn into greenhouses this is the brand of humidifier I will be purchasing.

I had tried another brand (cheaper) unit first which had good reviews and it was garbage, cheap plastic, poor fitment (if you ever so slightly brushed by it walking by... the resevoir would come and dump water everywhere)... then the low water alarm went off yet it was full of water... needless to say, returned it within 24 hrs. Saw the great reviews for the DREO and figured i'd try it... love it. Ran it all winter, with the 8L capacity i only had to top it up every 2-3 days. Love the directable vertical mister and the large LED display that i can see across the room. Solid quality and has not disappointed me in 7 months of use.

Such a great and compact humidifier. Really fixed the issue of dryness in our house. We really like it.

This humidifier was purchased because my previous Dreo humidifiers' water container cracked for no apparent reason and leaked water all over my hardwood floor. Dreo Humidifier - Model: 311S Be mindful on this product's reliability. As for this Dreo 8L humidifier, the size is great. A big screen on the front that show the info I need to know what's going. Detected & connected to my wi-fi network reaIly fast. The app is simple and easy to navigate and understand. I haven't had it for 24hrs yet. An updated review to come later. Now, the issues I have: I thought I purchased a new humidifier as for what I chose, but it seems like this one was already used. There are water marks in the bottom of the water container. (Reference pictures) If this was a brand new Dreo product, the cleaning reminder on the app wouldn't have shown 308 hrs working with or without a cleaning. The reminder is every 100 hrs to do a cleaning of the device. Now, it may have been cleaned and the counter in the app was not reset; but nonetheless, if it was brand new, it should have 0 hrs mentioned on the app before I even plugged the device. Other issue: Box was damaged upon delivery. I hope this 2nd Dreo humidifier purchase is my last one. 🙏🏾 Update: March 17, 2026 So far, this humidifier runs pretty well. The app is very responsive and intuitive. Wi-fi signal reception is strong. The plume comes out with quite a lot of force. Adding essential oils enhances the smell in a room. The warm mist option works well. I'm just waiting for the filter to be delivered to see how well it works. I wish it was a bit cheaper. 😉 I'm happy with this purchase.

Love this humidifier. The smart control function is amazing and very quiet if you are sensitive to noise during sleeping time. The sleeping mode did not bother me at all, my breathing was comfortable every single night. I highly recommend that if you have a baby or are sensitive to hearing during the night. Amazing product.
