Been over a year since purchase. Still standing.
I purchased this about a year or so ago. I hold off on reviewing items right after purchase because of longevity of items like this. With that, this has been great for what I wanted it for. I use this as a package delivery box at our front gate. Of course, nothing is perfect so Iโll list pros and cons. Pros: - waterproof - general size - has lasted over a year out in the elements. - Texas summer heat. No issue. - Crazy spring weather. No issues. - from what I remember of the assembly. It took me maybe 10 minutes. By myself. Didnโt even need to get my husband involved. Itโs like a simple puzzle. Just have to fit the pieces together. - lid - a toddler can open it. Nothing difficult about it. Cons: - color has faded some. But Iโm not looking for something that stays pretty. This is expected with anything constantly exposed to direct sunlight. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ - we had to put concrete pavers in the bottom to hold it in place. Itโs not heavy. So a strong wind could potentially hide it from you. - waterproof? Yes. Water tight? No. To protect our delivered packages we did add a little lift type thing my husband built to keep the packages off the pavers so they would not sit in water in heavy storms. (Now, donโt think itโll flood, it does not flood. But, water does trickle into it when the sky is falling) - curb appeal? It has a use. Itโs not a decoration. Is it horrendous to look at? Absolutely not. But itโs a box with an attempt at decorative flair haha - Would I consider it a secure box? Haha no. Even if you put some type of locking mechanism on itโฆ if someone REALLY wanted to get into it. It would take them less than 5 minutes. (This is not a concern for us as we have security cameras everywhere and this box is in direct view of 4 of them at different angles.) - overall stability? Again, not the greatest, but I spent whatโฆ $60ish on it. I mean, you get what youโre willing to pay for. With all of that said, I am very happy with it at this price point. Yes, we had to add some customization to it. But if/when this box needs to be replaced, I would not hesitate to purchase it again if itโs available.

Get the lid on well, and you'll be fine.
A little flimsier than I was expecting and you have to be sure you get the lid seated when you close it or it won't actually keep water out. Ours has survived its first summer without appearing to have faded it cracked. So far so good.

Durable for outdoor use
Bought this for feed and bedding storage for my chicken coop. Its totally exposed to the elements and rain and has never once leaked.

DO NOT BUY!!!! Very Poor Quality
This is a complete waste of money! Do not buy! It is very thin flimsy plastic and broken while assembling. Simply snapping the parts together as directed by the instructions included it cracked. So didn't even get to attempt to use it. Very poor quality, thin plastic, breaks and cracks in multiple spots while attempting to snap sides in. This is definitely not an outdoor item a stiff breeze could blow this away if you managed to get it assembled.

Not worth it
When I unboxed it, one side piece was broken. Since we held off on putting it together until Iowa decided to finally let us have consistant spring weather, it was too late to send it back. The pieces kept falling apart while my husband and I attempted to put this together. It took a lot of beating to get them to lock & stay together.

Eh
Well. Only gave it 3 stars because. Well not sure why. I have bought children toys that were made with heavier plastic. This might last this winter. Not sure. Extremely flimsy. I mean extremely. Wouldn't set a grocery bag on top because I am sure it will break the lid. You get what you pay for. If you have a covered patio and use it for packages only and nobody sets anything on top, you might be ok. Can't see the thin plastic holding up to cold temperatures or hot ones.
