It does not work out of box. Starts making loud gargling noise and doesn't play music. Forcefully ejects the cassette and says error. Do not waste your money. Thankfully it is being returned. Don't trust Chinese garbage products

Bought this to replace a tape reader with a failing cable. The tape deck keeps flipping this after a second or two of playing a couple of times before ultimately ejecting it. I know there are mods you can do that can fix this, but I wouldnt expect it from a new item. Additionally, the sound quality is terrible and is muted and bass-heavy, even with the bass eq'd out of the stereo. My older tape I had was perfectly clear and had no sound issues. Not really worth it to return, will probably cannibalize the cord and put it on my old tape converter

It's a piece of junk. It only works for a few weeks after plugged in. Then it becomes static and noisy when plug into the iPhone or iPad. It works sometimes if you adjust the cable up and down and move around. I want a replacement if this is still under warranty.

The tape kept coming out after each song and during the song it would skip. Absolutely terrible. I guess you get what you pay for

Not happy about this adapter. It keeps coming out of the cassette player and skips a lot.

I use this in my 2001 Honda Accord I put it in my cassette and plug it into my phone so I use my phone for my navigation and talk through two people hands-free

This item didn’t work! Sounds like my speakers blew out, waste of money!
