Nice product. Cooling questionable.
Heats well. Purifies well. I am not sold on the cooling.

Great machine and great performance with some annoying drawbacks
Likes: The design in general; While not as futuristic as D* brand, it's sleek and a lot more compact. The 3-in-1 function saves space in my tiny bedroom. Remote control works well. App is well designed and easy to setup and navigate. Moves plenty of air if you can handle the loud fan at highest setting. Seeing PM2.5 dropping in real time is fun (and healthier, of course.) Color status for air quality/heating it easy to notice at a glance and is elegant. Somewhere in the middle: Touch control panel on the unit is not very responsive. Most of the time I can't lightly tap. I'd have to press my fingertip fully. Lowest fan setting is too low and barely moves air. Highest fan setting is LOUD. Heating function only adjustable on the unit itself. While you can use remote to turn on and off, the only way to change the temp is through the touch control panel. Dislikes: Disappointingly can't use heater function through the app since I'd like it to turn on automatically when the temp hits a certain level. Rattles and creaks lightly when oscillating which is slightly annoying to me.

Easy setup. App is great. No issues 1 year in.
Super easy to use and set up. App is great. It's on constantly due to a pet allergy (I own a pet I'm allergic to), and I have only had to change the filters once in a full calendar year so far. Also does great at eliminating gas stove and wildfire pollutants. I've had for almost a year and it's still going strong even with constant use!

Not worth the money
We really wanted to like this 3 in 1 as it checked all the boxes we needed it to. Purchased it brand new, and on the first night we got it we had issues. We followed all the instructions, removed the plastic on the filter, placed it where it needed to be, yet there were issues. First, when we were going through the app and the remote, we found out that you can NOT turn on the heat through the app. It has to be done on the touchscreen of the unit. The verbiage said something like "it is illegal to be able to turn on the remote via app or remote...". That's odd because you can do that with ANY other heater or even your home furnace via app. Secondly, we were changing setting on the app and it worked fine for about 10 minutes and then everything we pressed on the app didnt work. The front display was basically frozen and nothing that we did on the app made any changes. Had to unplug the unit and wait for it power down and restart. Then it started working after the reboot. Finally, throughout the night we heard a clicking from the unit. All of this happened the first night we had it, dont know what its going to do for the rest of the time we have it. Dont buy.

Overheats quickly
We bought this for our baby’s room because we live in an older house and her room doesn’t have heat pumps like the other rooms. The air purifier function works great but the heat is overly powerful for a medium size bedroom. The 68 degree option is not warm enough and the 70 degree option quickly overheats the room to 74 and I have to turn it off. There is no 69 degree setting on the machine. I wish it was the affordable temp control for our nursery we need, but sadly it takes lots of constant managing to be useful.

Fantastic Air Purifier That Does A Lot
I got this for my wife and I’s bedroom and was interested in it being able to also heat and oscillate. I don’t like IoT devices but I was able to connect it with the app then put it into a IoT VLAN with no internet and still functions just fine and same with the remote. Others have complained of smell but I just smell normal slight air puffier smells that went away after a day and does not bother me. It purifies effect and monitors the air for containments which has helped my allergies a lot as well as helping keep dust down. The sleep mode works perfect and I have mine setup to auto run on a schedule for when I go to sleep and turn off when I wake to auto mode. I feel like the value is perfectly priced for what it offers and would recommend this for anyone looking for the specific functions this purifier provides.

AVOID - Wildly expensive, buggy operation, heater is a pain due to app limits
After seeing many reviews of the Blueair product line I elected to purchase the 3-in-1 unit as a space heater + fan + air purifier for a Michigan basement office (which gets chilly much of the year). I don't even know where to start with this thing, so let me just rattle off the major points: * Heater only works via IR, app cannot turn on the heater due to some rule in Europe (I guess? Some reddit post suggested this). I'm not in Europe but I'm restricted from operating this thing like a normal device. * Heater lets you set a temperature, but you can't do that from the app nor from the remote, you have to change the temp on the device itself. Not sure why there's an app or a remote when you still need to walk to the device to change settings. * Doesn't remember the last setting on startup. In the winter, getting heat means I need to turn it on, set it to heat, then set it to automatically keep a temperature. Three buttons every time you turn the thing on because it somehow can't remember what you were doing a few minutes ago. * Operation is buggy and laggy, even on the display panel. * Does weird stuff occasionally. Turn it off and it starts oscillating for some reason? Sure why not. * Sometimes, I'll turn it on heat and it just blows cold for several minutes before turning the heat on, or does the same at power off (oh no more heat? let me just blow icy cold air at you instead and see how you like it, YOU'LL COME BACK) * Heat is all-or-nothing and setting the target temp does a terrible job if it's physically close to you. You'll have a blast of too hot, until it decides it's warm enough, and then it'll blow icy cold air at you, then repeat. Checking power draw with a current meter confirms this, there is one and only one heater setting, he heating elements are full-on or full-off. * For nearly a year after purchase, no filters available at all. Now they're available for nearly $70. You can buy an entire HEPA filtration system just like this one for less than BlueAir is charging for a replacement filter. HEPA filters are all over Amazon for $20, there is absolutely no excuse for their pricing here. This device has all the checkmarks for quality of life features but somehow screws up every single part of that design making it substantially worse in use than a device costing one tenth the price. Having a half-baked and poor functioning app added to the mix somehow makes the entire thing worth even less. Save your money and buy a normal filter (or heater or whatever). There is no part of this worth the asking price.

Quiet and works as described
Fan is relatively quiet and lower speeds and heating element is quickly ramps with warm air. 90 to 180 degree oscillation is a nice option. Phone app is easy to use and connecting BLUE AIR to home WIFI was fast with no issues. This device seems well built and is a nice upgrade to my Dyson hot+ cool Gen 1 HP 10 purifier, which after 7 years of good service now has fan motor issues and the heating option triggers an error code shutting down the device.

Doesn't shut heater off at set temperature
Had to return this unit because it did not maintain the temperature it was set for. I set the temperature on the unit to 21C. It heated the room to 24.2C before turning off the heater. The heater turned back on when the temperature fell to 20.9C. Overheating the room is a waste of energy. Everything else worked ok.

No paid returns?
The remote is not responsive, it takes 2-3 presses to get it to respond. It also turns off spontaneously. I think for over heating after 15 minutes at 68F Also, they want me to pay for returns. ??? They will grant me $4 after the receive it to cover shipping. It's a big heavy box, at least 25$ to ship. What gives?
