Phenomenal watch!!!
My introduction to smart watches was the Samsung Galaxy Ultra watch in white. It was great for what is was. Linked with my Samsung Galaxy 25 Ultra, it did everything I could ask for. Prior to that, I was wearing my Casio G-Shock GWG-2000. The Garmin Tactix 8 51mm AMOLED is just such a phenomenal watch in every way. I mean it looks gorgeous to just wear on the wrist. You can wear it for any occasion. It's bigger than my Samsung watch but feels a lot lighter. The screen is beautiful. Some might say it's overkill, but I say the more features, the better. I don't like when companies or even people try to tell me what I do and don't need. Give me everything and allow me to decide for myself. The battery life is on a whole other level in comparison to the Samsung. I was getting 1-3 days on the Samsung depending if I used energy saving mode (3D) or not. My first charge of 100% and the Garmin said 28 days. Of course, I just start wearing it last night, but that is just amazing!!! I got this thing for about $400 off of the retail price because it was supposed to be used and in good condition. The thing came in looking like it wasn't touched. The only thing that was a little raggedy was the box. I would highly recommend this watch to anyone that can afford it.

Battery life.
100% worth the purchase. I ended upgrading to the garmin tactics 8 solar, pretty much because of how much I love this watch. The data it gives for your daily overview, and then the morning report. My favorite feature was the built in flashlight. I use it all of the time.

Beyond Amazing
I have been longtime Garmin Fenix user and finally decided to upgrade from my Fenix 6, which up until now had been the best smartwatch I've ever owned. I had been thinking about upgrading for years, but the thing just kept working so well I couldn't bring myself to do it. With the release of the Tactix 8 and the opportunity to finally get to have access to the Applied Ballistics solver on my smartwatch, I decided it was finally time. I do not have one single complaint about my Fenix 6, and yet the upgrade to Tactix 8 is almost beyond words. You simply cannot buy a better watch with more features than what Garmin has to offer, and the Tactix 8 is a stunning example of this fact. The fit and finish are phenomenal, with battery life measured in weeks, even with multiple sensors running 24/7. The screen resolution is exceptional, and the touchscreen is responsive and highly convenient to have. I also have to give a pat on the back to the Seller, Heart Rate Monitors USA. They get the award for the most unbelievably fast shipping I've ever seen, with delivery in just under 22 hours from PA to CO via FedEx Overnight with Saturday Delivery. Just wow. If you are looking for a seriously powerful smartwatch with every possible feature you could ever want and then some, that's built like a tank, and backed by some of the best software in the industry, look no further than the Tactix 8. There is not even a close second when it comes to what you're going to get at any price point. I am beyond impressed.

Bad heart rate monitor
Unacceptable heart rate monitor for this expensive of the watch. I'm wearing a Garmin chest strap monitor and it says my heart rate is 82 while I'm walking and the watch at the same time says I'm 131. Contacted support they had me do a reinstall of the software. Seem to be okay for a day or two and right back to wild readings. If you can pick the Swatch up for a couple hundred bucks okay but my old instinct what had a better heart rate monitor. Update: They've got as far as replacing the watch and I still get crazy heart rate readings like my chest strap saying 130 which was what it feels like jogging but the watch saying 175. Again there's something inherently messed up with the way they updated this heart rate sensor way too expensive for that kind of error

Mejor que el Fénix 8
Para mi gusto es el mejor SmartWatch del mercado, yo uso la aplicación Applied Ballistics para el tiro de precisión. Las opciones tácticas lo diferencian del Fénix 8.
