BuzzEdit v3 - Embroidery Design Editor

I received BuzzEdit v3 as a Christmas present! My friends who embroider reccomended it to me! I am learning to edit embroidery files and create my own. The graphic interface is easy to work with the functionality is wonderful. I change change thread colors on screen to view different color combinations before I begin an embroidery project.

My comments are not about the seller, it's about this program. I watched a few hours of tutorials, on YouTube, on this program, to see if I wanted to purchase it. I knew there would be a learning curve on it, but this is ridiculous. I am NO dumb bunny, have been embroidering for about 2 years. I bought this program to edit designs, do color changes, split hooping, (only have a 4x4 stitching field), sat for 11 hrs one day and 8 hours another day, and I'm surprised I have any hair left! The program is so frustrating! Hate it, hate it, hate it. Called Sew for Less but they do not accept returns on software.(not their fault I hate the program) All the reviews are so glowing and "easy to work with" just felt someone should hear from a not so glowing review

I have used buzz Edit 3 for 8 years. It does everything I need it to do.YES - there is a learning curve. BUT:There are YouTubes and you can email the company for help. They are Very Helpful!After upgrading embroidery machine - Luminaire Innovis XP1 - I also upgraded to Buzz Edit 4.Lots of very nice new techniques and bigger hoops. and YES - I'm back in the learning curve but it's coming along nicely. FOR THE PRICE - IT'S WONDERFUL.If you want PE 11 - you're looking at well over $1000, orFloriani - can cost you $6000+TALK ABOUT A LEARNING CURVE!!All of these programs are quite wonderful and will meet your every need - if you are willing to put in the time.

I have had this software for about a week and it is a lot of fun. I have only begun to learn all that this software can do. I love being able to print out the template (esp. for in the hoop projects) and the worksheet that it prints makes it easy to keep track of thread colors. The realistic view is great for showing you what your project will look like finished and it is great to be able to see how it will sew out with the sew simulator. Very easy to use and I know I will be playing with this for a while. There are tutorials available on Youtube showing how to create designs for multihooping, as well as digitizing and such. I love anything that makes my sewing easier and more fun and this software does just that.

junk after I had it for a while it quit working they told me I had to buy it again after paying $200 for it

This is very easy to use digitizing software. I am using it with BuzzWord to make combinations of lettering with designs. It works great right out of the box. It has allowed me to digitize some clip art that I downloaded from the internet, so I really appreciate that. No more purchasing really expensive design packages unless I'm lazy. :)This works way better than the Digitizer Jr and has a ton of file types that can be saved to. I'm still trying to figure out the hoop sizes, that it comes with, but it also lets you create your own hoops so it doesn't limit it to those built in sizes. I'm pretty impressed for such an inexpensive package. AND it does not require a dongle hanging off of your laptop! Licensing is accomplished with a key and serial number instead. Yay!!!

Very disappointed. Purchased to digitize however after receivingredients I was informed that Mt you have to spend right at $300 for the Buzz 2 Stitch. Not happy.

As always Buzz Tools is a great product. Love that you can try before buying. Tried another program with free trial-great-it let me do in the computer but could not download so I could try the design in the machine. What good is that? Buzz Tools free trial let me do the complete editing of my designs and then sew them out to see how good it worked. And it works GREAT. Spent a little more and got a lot more.
