Anyone who has tight fitting climbing shoes worn with bear feet will probably have experienced the issue of smelly shoes. Some brands/types of construction materials suffer more than others. I have no problems with La Sportiva shoes, Solutions, Futuras nor Theories but my Scarpa Instinct VS were becoming a problem. No longer! Smellwells keep them dry inside and smelling sweetly, two years old, been resoled twice so had a ton of use and still smelling inoffensive. Also they are lightweight compared to their competitor Boot Bananas. So taking them in luggage for going on trips abroad doesn’t eat into weight allowance the same way.

Brilliant product. Smell em as soon as ya open packet. They worked on very smelly trainers used for walking dog within 24 hours. Now use them between various footwear when I've used em. Very very good.

These look cool and smell great, put them in a pair of trainers that smelled a bit funky and left them overnight and it’s done a great job of eliminating the odour. More effective, less mess and better smelling thank baking soda which used in the past. Addressing some of the comments in the poor reviews: Odour in really smelly shoes is caused by bacteria ingress deep in the material, the product could go some way to masking the smell but realistically you would need to apply some sort of bleaching agent / anti bacterial treatment to remove the odour at its source. I’d consider this product a preventative measure for newer shoes than a cure for really stinky footwear.

Alot smaller than I'd expected, I thought they would have been at least twice the size, they smell nice but think they could do with being bigger.

The scent is amazingly nice. Ive used it for one.pair of shoes for about 2 weeks but doesnt seem to have made much difference...could just be a personal experience though. Update: a month down the line of using it everyday, the smell from my shoes had completely disappeared. My shoes had been used in a muddy walk so the smell was quite strong. I'm guessing cuz it was so bad it took a while to fix it. It did do what i expected from it so 5 stars!

I’d wedged a tin of penetrating oil under our kitchen units, Which wedged the spray on for a couple of hours. It wasn’t WD40 but a very old penetrating oil which was very, very pungent. I bought theses bags but missed judged the size, probably need at least 10, however over a period of 5 weeks, I can’t smell the oil.

I’m an arborist working in dense woodland 90% of the time. Cutting, climbing and using big as hell saws (I know I couldn’t be more manly if I tried). These things make my boots smell like a spring morning every morning!

Just dont really work. The shoes dont smell that bad, but this just seems to put a faintly vanilla smell over the odor and not absorb anything.

We use them for Figure skates, Zuca bags, and dancing and skating lockers. Not only do these work to offset odor from shoes, skates, and lockers in which they are placed, they also fend off offensive smells from neighboring lockers that otherwise invade and linger.

Im an mma fighter and this works soooo well for my gear, especially sitting in my gloves overnight. I've tried a lot of products and this is the best one.

Ich habe sie mittlerweile seit einem Jahr in meinen Kletterschuhen und nun das erste mal ausgetauscht. Der Duft ist zwar schon länger weg, aber die feuchtigkeit wurde immer noch schnell aufgenommen und so der unangenehme Geruch verhindert. Allerdings fand ich den Geruch beim öffnen der Packung nicht mehr so intensiv wie bei meinem ersten Paar. Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass hier etwas herunter geschraubt wurde, damit häufiger nachgekauft wird. Trotzdem ein sehr gutes und absolut funktionierendes Produkt. Ich empfehle es jedem und habe meiner Freundin auch ein paar für ihre Straßenschuhe gekauft.
