This is a nice speaker for listening to music in my house and also when I go to play sand volleyball. I haven’t had an issue with the battery, since the solar power helps keep it charged up, and sand isn’t an issue in any of the holes. The sound quality is good enough for my non-audiophile ears and it connects to my phone quickly for ease of use. It also came with a nice little strap to hang it from things. The ports are. Protected by a little silicone part so no water or sand can get in. I’m sure that helps with water proofing it, but I haven’t tested it personally

I've come back to drop this from two stars to one. It rained on this "waterproof" device and it started making a loud, repeated "beep" across the neighborhood until I figured out what the heck it was. Then it kept turning itself on and off until, I think, the battery ran out. Note the attached description of IPX6. It no longer works at all. Complete junk. ================================ Doesn't charge well at all. I'm using it to either listen to music or the Red Sox while throwing a ball outside - for 45 minutes to an hour a day. After a month of occasional use (it was hard to pair it consistently), with it out in the late summer sun, it has too little charge to play. Yesterday it interrupted every few minutes then gave up at half an hour. Today it ran a minute or two. On a full day out in the sun. And, unfortunately - this really hurts - I am four days past the return window. This was not quite "cheap" - $35 I think - and it took a month to find out it doesn't charge enough in the sun to use. I did leave two stars because the Bluetooth basically works, and it will play back audio properly. But the solar charging - not having to wire it or lug it inside all the time - was the feature that mattered to me.

Nice speaker, loud and long battery life. Easy to setup and use but not really made to be used by multiple devices. When you turn it on, it will automatically connect to the last device it was paired to. If you want to use it on another device, you have to disconnect the pairing on the first and then connect it to the second. My only complaint i have is the solar charging. For me, it was basically useless. I didn't use it for a while and it discharged to the point where it wouldn't start. I placed it in the sun for a few days (it got about 8-9 hours of direct sun) and it never got enough charge to start. I ended up plugging it into a USB charger and it was fully charged in a day. I believe the solar charging is just a gimmick and not something really useful (and yes.. i was seeing the indicator light that it was 'charging' in the sun.

I absolutely love this speaker. It sounds decent. Its loud enough. Easy to connect. It has charged easily with the solar. Love love love and the price is right.

It's very lightweight and it doesn't feel cheaply made, the battery last of good while before I have to charge it again which is also thanks to the solar power charging. as far as water resistance I try to keep it away from the water however some droplets have gone on to it and so far it's still going. If you listen in a video The Sound quality isn't that bad if you are in a closed area, however if you're outside it's not as loud and you'd have to turn it all the way up. Aside from that The overall performance of this is great for what I paid for it's not that bad.

One speaker has a short and will not turn off or on. It kept cycling threw off and on for 5 days 24 hours until the battery went dead.
