Came in defective
Unfortunately, the scale was broke when it was delivered. Couldn't access the menu on the scale. But, aside from that, I don't know if this can truly be called a smart scale. In order for your smartphone app to get the info from the scale, you have to manually type it in, or take a picture of the scale window with your weight on it. It was not really what I was looking for, but of course, that can be blamed on me for not reading between the lines on the product description. It's way less expensive than a true smart scale, so that should have been my first clue. So, just be sure you want this type of scale and not a smart scale. Quite frankly, you can buy a scale anywhere, and just use a body analysis app to get your stats. It was returned and I purchased a smart scale.

Accurate scale, UX could use a little help
The user experience (UX) of taking out your phone and pointing the camera at it (which is how the scale transmits info to the phone) is sort of odd - but it makes sense once you do it a few times, and I get that it's cheaper and easier than hooking up bluetooth. Except the scale's backlight should stay on longer!Scale takes strangely long to compute your weight - like 10 seconds - along with body mass etc. Then you aim your phone's camera at the scale and hopefully it focuses before the backlight on the scale goes off and you have to repeat.App is a bit counterintuitive; would be nice to have body mass history as well as weight history. The app would be better if it did one thing one way not one thing 5 ways...

Ahhh hmmm
It's ok but not sure how accurate. My weight bf water weight seems to fluctuate from one day to the next. It's nice to have the info handy. Not trusting it much

Probably best bang for your buck
I've been using this for a few weeks now. So far, so good. Setup was pretty straightforward and it has correctly identified the user every time. I haven't had too much issue getting it to show body fat percentage/muscle mass/etc either. For those, you just have to stand still and make sure that your feet are making good contact to the metal pads. If not, you will only get a weight reading. From formulas I've found online the body fat percentage estimate seems pretty accurate. The only complaint I have is that sometimes it is difficult to get the phone app to scan the (QR type?) code from the scale into their gurus app/tracking software. I attribute that to bad lighting in my bathroom, so it still gets 5 stars. On a side note, If you are starting a workout program and muscle vs fat is important to you, this scale should be on your list. It clearly states that it used BIA for body fat measurement, and the tracking software has some graphs to help you keep track of your progress, including muscle mass, body fat. Keep in mind that many of the cheaper "body fat" scales do not actually use Impedance to measure body fat, and only use age/weight/height to give you an estimate.

This stupid thing
Scales are great for people who love to feel morbidly obese on a daily basis. Also, there's no way for your camera phone to take picture of the bonkers QR code and have it register correctly. It's good to know that I've gained 3 lbs so I can obsess over my disgusting human woman body, at 5'3 and 112 lbs. Thanks for nothing, society.

The best scale I've ever owned!
I don't normally write reviews but after getting this scale and using it for more than a month and half I really love it. Not only is it really accurate but it is super easy to use. The app leaves a little to be desired but it covers the essentials so I can't fault it. The scale itself is awesome, I really enjoy the display and how you don't have to turn on blue tooth to sync to a phone since this drains battery I'd rather not have to turn on blue tooth every time I step on the scale.More than anything the accuracy of this scale is really solid. My weight no longer goes up and down like it did on a more traditional scale I had and it also covers body fat, water, muscle %.Overall I would say this is a solid item well worth the money I paid for it. Acts like a much more expensive scale and looks great.

inconsistent, inaccurate piece of crap
I purchased this scale thinking how AMAZING it would be to have it automatically upload to my phone app so I don't have to enter the numbers myself. Well, that part is pretty cool, although you have to catch it when it flashes the code the first time, so your phone has to have the program open with it ready to scan. otherwise, it will flash the code dimmer and it says its too dark to scan. that part isn't my problem. My problem is that I can weigh myself on this thing 5 times and get 5 different weights!! And then I weigh myself on my old scale, which never varies in weights, and it was 4 pounds lighter on the old scale! This thing is completely inaccurate and I hate it. don't waste your money! I wish I had an alternative to post but I cant seem to find a decent scale these days. :(

Great Scale for the Price, BUT don't take the Actual Fat % too Seriously!
I'm a fitness pro and purchased this scale since my old one had seen 'better days!'For me, the weight measurement was the only thing I really cared about because there's so many factors that couldimpact the bodyfat and other readings (such as level as hydration).I use skin calipers to measure bodyfat because it is much more accurate and consistent than bioelectrical impedance andthe scale hasn't been even close in terms of accuracy of bodyfat compared to the calipers (I use a multiple site skin fold measurement). That being said you can still get 'relative' readings either plus or minus so as long as you don't obsess over the actual numbers it says you can still get some idea. But again hydration can really skew the numbers so keep that in mind.Still I'm very happy with this scale, it has served my purposes well!
