**Q: Is this good to do edges with or slick down ponytails for people with thick hair?**
A: I have very thick, coarse curly hair.  It keeps it under control but I wouldn't say in my case slicked down. I dont like "lacquered" look or feel DCo dont use enough to get to slick.  Hair type matters here I suspect.
