Should have read the reviews! I received 11 seeds and promptly planted them in seed starter with a variety of other peppers, germination was horrible!!! Don't buy these overpriced crappy seeds. I had great success with the other seeds in the same tray, of the 11, 4 sprouted after a week, most were "helmet heads" that I managed to salvage only to watch the primary leaves wilt and die off. Extremely disappointed in this crappy product! My other seeds are vigorous and growing rapidly, after 3 weeks the Reapers that managed to break ground are dead!!! What waste of time and money! You need to stop selling these NOW!!!

Sprouted pretty quickly need to keep it in direct sunlight had to bring them in for the winter they turned out great got tons of peppers

Save your money, received 7 seeds in the package, of the 7 seeds only 1 sprouted. Then never grew over 1/4 of an inch which took over 9 days, then died. I went to Giant Eagle and bough a package of Habanero peppers and gutted the seeds from two of them, placed them in the oven at 125 degrees for an hour, wrapped them in a damp paper towel and low and behold they opened up in 5 days. now I have pepper plants galore. Save your money and grow your own fresh that way. Who know how long the seeds were in that packet

Very finicky less than half sprouted

It's still a little early for me to confirm these are Carolina reapers, but the seeds are pepper seeds and all of them appear to be properly developed, no indication of viability issues. There was a tiny amount of pepper debris in the seed packet, but not enough to obscure finding the 15 seeds in my packet. This variety of pepper does require a little more care than others to get started. Unless your germination area is naturally very warm, you will need a heat mat and a bit of patience. These can be very slow to germinate if you don't keep the seeds at the optimum temperature (and maintain appropriate moisture).

Zero germination rate in coir pellets in a starter tray with lid on. Everything else I've done in this method including seeds from peppers from the store have been at least 50%, usually 90%.
