I bought the slider set almost 2 years ago. They were worn out and not sliding well anymore. I was happy to see they make replacement pads. Chairs are sliding well again! For ~50c each I may just replace them yearly. Thanks Gorilla for making a serviceable product.

I'm that guy, always getting up and down. The adhesive glides on my dining room chair last about 2 weeks before they start coming apart. I bought these because they screw in, are narrow enough to disappear beneath the chair leg, and have replacement glider parts. When I first put them on, I found they weren't as slippery as normal glides, but they quickly broke in. I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that they're 2-piece, but cannot prove it. It took about a week before my chair was sliding easily, allowing me to get up to grab all the forgotten items in the kitchen. It's been over a month and they're as good as new. Normally, I would have been through 2 sets of glides by now. I also bought a set of replacement slides, so if/when these wear out, I can replace the tops without removing the entire part. The only thing I'd love for them to have is felt/carpet replacements. When we put the area rug away, we usually switch to felt sliders, and I'd love to have that option, but now that these are screwed in, the glides get to stay all year round.

I've used several different glides on my kitchen chairs over the years - none of them last more than a couple of years on my porcelain tile floor. The GorillaGlides lasted about the same amount of time, but then I discovered that they sell these replacement caps. Perfect! Just pop out the old ones and pop in the new ones and I'm good for another year or two. Well worth 8 bucks.
