The material of the belt seems to be very durable yet flexible, ie not too stiff. The belt looks great, including the band to put the excess belt material as it is pulled thru the buckle, which creates a clean, flat appearance. The buckle itself clamps down tight on the belt to keep it locked in place. At the same time, the buckle is easy to release.

I discovered this belt on cargo shorts that I ordered from Amazon that came with the same belt. After using it for several weeks I saw how east it was to adjust. In just a few seconds I could readjust during the day if I wanted to. I searched Amazon and found this essentially same belt and ordered more for my shorts, jeans, and slacks. After several months the belt holds up extremely well - the fabric and buckle work perfectly. And it is also so much easier to go thru security at the airport. Definitely recommend this and will be ordering more in different colors in the future.

The belt is lightweight and has a high quality YKK buckle. It is exactly as described and will probably last forever. I think other commenters have mistaken its low weight and overall simplicity for “cheap.”My only complaint is regarding the ridiculously high price that I begrudgingly paid, but I guess that’s the new normal.

I have bought multiple nylon belts over the past 15 years. I buy the ones that have YKK buckles because they've been around for over 50 years in Japan. They make some of the best nylon plastic/metal buckles used by major sporting businesses due to quality and durability. They are used in sleeping bags, outerwear and multiple other items we all use. The inch and a half wide web is perfect since it fits through standard shorts, jeans and other pants. I use them on my ski pants and my clothing when I go through airports since plastic they don't set off the TSA metal scanners. The price is definitely higher since last time I bought web belts they were running in the 14 to $15 range 3-4 years ago, but with inflation everything is going through the roof. The fact that you can cut them down to your size is a tremendous asset versus leather belts and the fact that they're waterproof is another great factor and very durable since I have several of these belts over ten years now in different colors.

I always wore Bison belts for travel but never found one of theirs in an inch-and-a-half width with a plastic buckle. These belts are great if that's what you need. They are easy to trim and the buckle stays closed under normal and very active conditions. They are well-made, work perfectly and the price is reasonable. Highly recommended.

I had hoped this product would simply stay together long enough to hold my pants up, but got tired of having to constantly put it back together just to hold its own end so I could use it..I have tried to return this, and would the quality is horrible..Unfortunately because of a trip, I was unable to have to sent back in the "amazon window".. which is really funny, because we order things all the time of "SAME DAY" OR NEXT DAY" and for any reason, amazon can say, it will not happen and yet, we as the customer are we given a bonus, coupon, money back for them not being able to keep their same day deliveries.. Nope, just a I'm sorry email for your convivence. What are we supposed to do with products that break down after there can't ship date.. Either your product has a warranty or it doesn't, so I encourage you, start asking amazon for a longer return window or ask that amazon seek manufactures that warranty their product or they will be boycotted.

So first off, this belt is very simple to operate. I can operate all day with very physical tasks with little to no adjustment; As it should, but I’m concerned with the overall durability of the product. It IS manufactured in china. It IS consisted of a plastic type material at the buckle. It IS priced comparatively with its metal buckle counterparts.I’d estimate the material cost to manufacture between .50c & 3.00$. So I’d at least hope the factory this is made dosen’t have some sort of safety net underneath the windows employees are liable to jump from…But hey, it’s America. If your in a pinch, use it as a tourniquet and you can downgrade the emergency evac to a ambulance and save yourself a life’s worth of debt. 🙃worth it

The belt is very well crafted, of good quality materials, which all work together in unison flawlessly. The latching mechanism is more than efficient and greatly tactical in it's ease of function and steadfastness. It does not come lose, and it can be latched anywhere on the belt, giving the wearer an absolutely perfect fit every time, with any and every type of pants.
