Freshpet Dog Food, Roasted Meals, Tender Chicken Recipe, 1.75 Lb

My Beagles are very fussy eaters. I boil white meat chicken and put carrots (sometimes with peas and/or broccoli) for them. Occasionally, I add a little rice or sweet potatoes and switch to beef. I first bought the solid roll of the chicken Fresh Pet. It's good, and they ate it, but I'd still have to cut it in small pieces before serving. This bag of ready-to-serve dog food is wonderful! You save money by buying the larger bag. My dogs weigh 30-40 lbs, and I give them 8 ozs each per serving, which gives me about 10 servings from this 5.5 lb bag. So each serving is only $2.50, and you're giving them a delicious, nutritious meal every time. I think that's great, even though I spend $5 per day on dog food plus their treats.. This is a great product and I am so happy to have it. I want to make sure I also mention that there are 4-5 1 inch (at least 1 inch pieces) of real white meat in every 8 oz serving and very plentiful shavings of carrots!! Seeing the chicken pieces among the 1/2 inch pellets of ground ingredients plus the carrots (which they love) was the greatest find of all with this food! Thank you for this wonderful dog food!

My dogs love this food and they seem way happier and healthier since I put them on it. The price is right and it’s always kept fresh and stays fresh.

Every pet owner should start buying raw dog food right now. I had enough of feeding my dogs kibbles made out of sketchy ingredient list full of by-product ingredients and fillers.I had a dog that lived until he was 19 years old and it was thanks to feeding him raw dog food. He was very active until he was 17 years old. I am so thankful for being able to buy Fresh Pet and feed my dogs real nutritious food, not processed full of non-readable ingredients.My dog’s muscles and body shape improved a lot after feeding them raw food and no more itchy skin either.It is completely worth it. I would rather spend on food quality food rather than end up paying expensive vet bills for feeding bad quality dog food.

I'm rating it for my dog Harry-Albérto! He is a chihuahua who is always saying he's hungry. I give him a tiny handful in the morning, telling him it's breakfast. In the evening, he gets more, and I add canned no-sodium green beans, plus a couple tablespoons of canned pumpkin. He always eats the Fresh pet first, so he says he loves it. We mostly get the chicken version. It's hard to find the beef. I didnt see it on Amazon, and the groceries are always out of it.

Don’t worry, my dog is the one who scored the flavor. My dogs love this food, which is a HUGE accomplishment for my very picky chihuahuas.Cons:1) it’s EXTREMELY overpriced for the amount of food per bag. Pro tip is that I serve half kibble half fresh nuggets. This makes the food last longer and also I hear kibble is good for their teeth strength.2) THE SMELL. I literally gag when I have to open the bag to get smacked in the face with a wave of funk. It doesn’t smell like chemicals or anything like that.. it smells like food but like, very ~potent~ meat😬. It stinks up the fridge for the first day, but then that stops (thank god) so you’ll only have to nearly vomit twice a day instead of every time you open the fridge. :)
