Now this is absolutely brilliant. Had to adjust the gap a little to allow the secure figment into the runners of the sash window <1mm. Good quality materials and design. Cat worked out how to use it in less than a day. Was also delivered faster than expected.

Its very sturdy and real easy to install. My cat uses it constantly and my little dog has figured it out now and he uses it. We put a small bench outside so they have something to walk out on. This is a great addition to our home and it matches the white frame of our window. I highly recommend this product. It saves me a lot of having to get up and let them out. I have a disability so this is perfect. Thank you guys for making this product. It really helps.

As others have said, it is easy to install and seems sturdy. I have had this for three weeks now, and this is how it went. After installing the window, we only let the cats in/out at the window, not the door. It took four days for the first cat to get the hang of it and start using it by himself. The two other cats started going to ask to be let in /out at the window and would wait for us to open it for them. This lasted almost three weeks before they finally figured out how to open it themselves. These cats are 2 and 3 years old. The magnet is pretty stiff and they needed lots of repetition and encouragement to figure out how to open it. It has been worth the time taken for them to learn as it has cut down on rounding up cats to bring them in and put them out and the litter box stays cleaner. We live in a rural area with several acres of woods around us and there is no problem with the cats being free to come and go as they wish.

Pretty respectable construction and materials. Spring loaded sides are a snazzy feature. Legit glass panels on the sides are also pretty classy. Included foam & vinyl seal strips are a nice touch. Magnetic "closure" feature is also very cool. In my specific scenario I might disable that feature simply because *my* dog is a little apprehensive over pet doors. Knocking off one star because I had to spend about 20 minutes with an air file (air powered sander) and some various sanding blocks, tuning up the size of the polycarbonate door itself. It would swing outwardly pretty well, but it took some serious force to get it to swing inwardly. One long side as well as the matching rounded corner up to the magnet needed to be shaved down an 1/8" over 8-10" on that edge of the door in order to get the swing just *buttery* smooth in both directions. Installation was crazy quick and easy. Confident about the insulation factor, there's a decent little brush seal that surrounds the door flap itself that should help. Using for a Chihuahua mutt, and he's in and out of it just fine. Lock seems like it's probably pretty full featured.

**review after 4 months of use** We’re really happy with this cat door! The plastic is thick and feels very durable definitely built to last. It also looks great and fits nicely in our window setup with simple install. At first, our cat wasn’t quite sure how to use it, so we kept the flap tied up for a few days to let her get used to the idea and gradually lowered the door. Once she figured it out, she started using it confidently, even with the strong magnet in place. The magnet gives the door a nice, secure close, and combined with the thick plastic, it provides excellent insulation. It actually keeps the house temperature very stable, which is impressive considering the window is technically open for the door to sit in. Overall, it’s a high-quality product that works perfectly and looks good doing it. Both we and our cat highly recommend it! 🐾

The door is too stiff. It is a great seal. So great that the cats hate it. They have had a cat door in this area for years. They hate how stiff this door is. We had to modify it just so they would use it. It is well built. Just a little too well on the door. The lock is the least well built thing. The magnets on the door are strong than the plastic lock. It has been a frustrating experience. I will say that the install was easy and it fits great. Just be prepared.
