Bond Premium Sisal Twine, 2500' feet-Natural

I may never use all of this twine but love the quality, quantity and price. It'll be used yearly in my garden and I'm sure I'll find other uses for it as well.

This is just perfect for making my own biodegradable trellis netting for my beans and tomatoes. I tie a larger loop at the top end to easily slip it over the support pole (I use 1" conduit), then about every 5" along the length of each vertical support I tie a smaller loop. The smaller loops are for attaching the horizontal supporting twine. I just slip it through and tie the ends to the supporting trellis structure. It lasts all summer, I have never had one break during use. It will not be good to use again, so I just cut it in short pieces and add it to my compost. I have purchased this in 2012 and 2013 and am about to purchase again.

It worked for what I needed, but like many other reviews, it does break/snap easily. I used it for scouts when lashing things together. It's good for very simple and basic stuff, but not for pulling with much force.

Whoah! Its huge! I normally use one or two small rolls of twine in my garden and around the house per year. I saw this one and thought that seems like a bargain compared to those little ones, when I recieved it I was like "Holy cow, I wont need to buy any for the next 9 to 10 years. Im still looking for a container to store it in and keep it clean though. A large quaker oat container is just a little too short to fit with the lid on it. good deal.

This twine is not very strong(should of thoroughly read reviews before ordering). Looks like it'`s currently unavailable through Amazon. Amazon should reconsider restocking(if they are intending to). A)Tinsel strength is very weak even when doubled up. I purchased to tie up recyclable material and now I'm stuck with it.B) I'm finding that as I am using up the twine(as best I can), it has actually been patched together(knotted)in pieces. C)Does not indicate whether or not this is actually 2500ft. Buy at your own discretion.

The twine I wanted was out of stock so I ordered this one. It was a good deal, and I believe it is the same strength but unfortunately it is made in China instead of the US. It smells strongly of an asphalt type smell, like tar. I wanted to cut it up at the end of the season and compost it but I don't know what kind of nasty chemicals they used on it. I probably will compost it anyway, but I wish it did not have the toxic smell to it.

This is great quality and worth more than what you pay for it. So buy it up. I pay twice this much at the local seed n feed
