I've been using the Monier Tallow Honey Balm twice a day for about a week, applying it to my face, neck, chest, and the tops of my hands, and so far I'm very impressed. One of the first things I noticed is that it absorbs beautifully without feeling greasy, heavy, or sticky. My skin feels soft, hydrated, supple, and has a healthy, dewy appearance after application. It glides on smoothly, and a little goes a long way. I also appreciate the simplicity of the ingredient list. The Beef Tallow and Honey Balm was a nice creamy balm. The balm has a good texture and melts into the skin once applied. It is not heavy nor leaves any grease. It is unscented but I'd dare to say there is a hint of beef smell in the cream. Nothing too noticeable. I wish the jar was bigger as the cream was very moisturizing.

I loved it and had a subscription. Last week I received one that had a terrible texture. I am returning it and they sent another one the next day. I opened it and it was the right texture but not entirely full. Bummed that I need to find another vendor.

I have very dry, flaky skin between my brows, around my nose, and on my chin (low thyroid and post-menopausal for many years now). Sometimes, the skin on my face is so dry that I feel like I'm wearing a mask, if that makes sense (I can feel resistance when I furrow my eyebrows, wrinkle my nose, or smile). I've been using a very small dab to moisturize my entire face and neck. It applies smoothly and absorbs nicely, leaving my skin soft and feeling comforted. I rarely wear makeup, but it should be applied without issue. I've only been using it for about 4 days, but I've noticed that after cleansing and drying my face (before applying the tallow), the dryness and flakiness aren't quite as bad as before. I do suggest cleansing your face daily before applying, or you may start to notice the beeswax building up on your skin. You can't see it, but you can feel it with your fingers. I've been using my own similar homemade product for years, but I thought I'd try this. I'm hoping my skin will continue to heal using this product. I absolutely love how soft and smooth my skin feels after applying this product. No more tight, dry feeling. Yay! Post Note: I've been using the tallow daily, as directed, and when I don't use it, my skin is still tight, dry, and flaky, not quite as bad as before, but significantly the same. There are times when I feel a dab of tallow is more wax than tallow, and my face feels sticky no matter how little I use (and, at most, I use a pea-sized amount). Put it this way, my cat's fur sticks to my face. I won't be buying this brand again, but I'm going to include tallow in the homemade recipe I've been using for years.
