This product caught my eye as a suggested product and given the low price I thought I'd give it a go as I did actually have a use for it. I've had an issue for a few years now with rats climbing up a boxed in area of my house where a soil pipe is and ending up getting above the ground floor ceiling and then dying, which I can assure you isn't a nice smell for a few months!This item has really helped and allowed me to drill a few small, inconspicuous holes into the boxed in area and identify exactly where they were getting in, without making many larger holes before I found the entry point.The unit has a good feel to it and was relatively easy to set up. I did have a few issues initially with getting the app to communicate with the device, but something suddenly worked and it started talking. For reference, you need to connect to the WiFi access point that the device broadcasts and then your phone will talk directly with it.The camera is easy to move into small locations and to control whilst fed into quite a small space - the rigidity of the cable is just about spot on for this.It's also got the benefit of an adjustable LED light at the end of the camera - being adjustable is a huge benefit as when in a small area and up close, too much light saturates the image, but turning this up in a larger open area then gives much better visibility.The only improvement I would make is to the labelling of the USB sockets on the transmitter as these are not easily distinguishable between the charging port and the camera port as they are both Micro USB.Overall very happy with this and now will not have any further rat issues.

Such a useful little tool, i say little, but the cable is huge which is awesome, allows for such potential and ability, for example, putting it down walls from a top floor when building, has a dial on the user end to adjust the brightness of the light, which is much better then a non-variable light, the instructions however had a fair amount of typos, but were still easy to follow and get the product working, able to use on laptop OR phone, personally i use my phone as its easily portable and connects just as easy, connects through wifi, would be nice if there was a bluetooth option (if its viable), the little grabber that came with it is alot of fun and although i havn't had to use it to actually retireve something yet it will clearly be useful if you dropped something down a gap that you can't get your finger through, so useful.Canera quality isn't amazing, of course if you are too far away from the object your trying to see the image can be out of focus, but once upclose (whixh is what an endoscope is designed for) it can pick out the hairs and skin pores on my face with good detail, made me cringe a little, i thought i was a little more handsome then it made me feel haha

Used this to check under the floor boards for missing earring. Satisfied it wasn't there. The set up was fairly starightforward although the English translation and spelling in the instructions were a bit difficult in places. When connecting your phone by wifi you lose your phone's wifi connection to the internet but that wasa not aproblem for me for a few minutes. Next time I will try to attach a rigid guide rod to the camere to make it more controllable. The cable is long and tighlty coiled and has a mind of it's own. That would only work in certain situations, eg up to a metre, I don't know how you control it when it is extended further.

My husband bought a really cheap inspection camera several months ago, which kind of did the job at the time, but he wasn't entirely happy with it, being difficult to use in an upwards and sideways direction due to the cable being floppy.The thing is, he has a need for seeing into small inaccessible areas and although the one he bought was adequate, it did make the inspection difficult. The idea of a semi-rigid style of endoscope camera end is a great improvement. It allows the end to be fed into vertical and horizontal recesses with the end remaining rigid.We have a motorhome with gas and water pipes and electricalwires hidden behind panelling with tiny access points. This inspection camera has allowed my husband to look into the internal areas with a lot more ease. The wifi connection to phone or tablet has been another great improvement.It's altogether a much more professional piece of equipment than the basic models out there. Worth considering if there's a regular need to use an inspection camera.

The product itself is quite good, the picture isn't bad. Unfortunatley, the battery life is woefully short for most practical uses.
