Be Careful: Neither Water Resistant, Rain Proof, nor Waterproof
On the plus side, the light is super bright (350 lumens) and the horn is very loud. Also able to go up to 2 weeks without recharging the batteries. The top of my unit got wet because of rain. The horn button seems fairly water-tight, but the top of the main unit's housing is another story. After 14 hours of drying-out there is still condensation inside the clear plastic covering of the solar panel. Also, horn electronics have shorted -- horn goes off randomly when plugged in or just produces an anemic chirp. There is also water leaking from the horn jack receptacle which entered through the solar panel cover.Leaving the unit in the sun all day doesn't recharge batteries, so I'm thinking the solar feature is more of a gimmick than anything useful. As a guesstimate, using the light with full-beam about 1 to 1.5 hours a week (with very liberal use of the horn whenever riding) requires the unit to be charged once every 2 weeks. A red light flashes when batteries are running low. Charging takes about 6 - 8 hours. As another nitpick, it's really annoying to cycle through 4 light modes just to turn the unit off.Depending on your riding style, the horn button clasp may be prone to slip when you press it. The horn clasp is a rubber band-like and not a bolt. Since most horn-light combos are like this, I wouldn't deduct points for this. Just something to be aware of.Overall it's a good light, but it's not rainproof or waterproof. And the solar panel feature is possibly a sales gimmick. If you decide to purchase, don't allow it to get wet!

Horn is so loud and it falls off my bike.
Initially you would think that having a horn and the light in one would be great, but it's a terrible idea. For one, the horn in this flashlight is REALLY loud. I hated to use it because it is very loud and startling. I would prefer a bell or bell-like sound than a horn like this. Also I once accidentally left it outside not thinking it might not be waterproof. It got wet by the rain and started honking SO LOUD non-stop! Imagine if I wasn't home. Now I remove the assembly every so often and because of that I lost the rubber things you put in between the handles and the flashlight holder to make it tight and snug. Now I have to either hold it while biking in the dark or put it in my basket and pray it stays stable. Annoying. Should've just bought a flashlight on its own without the horn.Anyway one good thing about it is it is solar powered and so I have never once ever had to charge it.

great light, weak horn
I bought this headlight b/c it had a "loud" (120 dB) horn. While it is probably 120 dB 1 mm away from the horn, its effective range is not much more than that--definitely NOT for cars, and probably not pedestrians either. My otherwise very skittish cat was unfazed when I beeped it when she less than 10 feet away. I will go back to my air horn.UPDATE: In Nov 2020 the anemic horn gave up the ghost and no longer works. I got used to beeping at friends walking by to just say "hi".

Great design and very bright!! solar powered , definitely recommend.
I have received this bicycle light for several days. During the use, I am very satisfied with this light. In fact, it should be a surprise. I didn't expect it to have such a comprehensive function. The first thing I have to mention is the solar panel. During the day, this light automatically charges itself through the solar panel. As long as the day is sunny, you don’t have to worry about charging. It stays full of power every night. I don't have to think about charging every day, I don't have to take it down every day, and then install it the next morning. Can you imagine how happy I am?This light also integrates the horn, the sound is very large, five kinds of sounds, I don't use speakers frequently , and occasionally use it once, it is better than nothing, it is not bad.The speaker cable can be separated from the light so that if you want to remove the light, you don't need to remove the speaker cable from bike handlebar together .It can also charge the phone, charge the taillights, or charge the speedometer . The output power is medium, it is enough to charge the taillights and the meter, and it is a bit slow to charge the phone, but it can be used for emergency charging when the phone is out of power.I don't have to remove my headlights, taillights, and speedometer together from bike handlebar at night to recharge them, because they are charged on the bike during the day.The battery capacity is big enough. I don't know how long it will last. I ride for more than an hour every night and it has not been out of power .Waterproof, I haven't tried it under rainstorm. It was raining the day before. I quickly rode home. It took about twenty minutes on the road. I was drenched with rain. But there is no water within light .It is good. I don't have the habit of putting bike light in the water.USB charging, it has this feature, but I have not used it until now, because solar charging is charged every day. There is a light sensing function that feels useless.Four light modes, bright (very bright, I can't look it directly , the distance is very far away), medium bright (power saving), slow flash, fast flash. Why can't they design long press to close it? I need to press 4 times to close, a little shortcoming , but I don't mind.If you need a bike headlight, this product is a good choice. recommend.

GREAT for the money!
I love this light and horn!!! This light and horn are great tools for bike riding day or night. The solar panel is great and lights up red when it is charging which is a great feature. The only con and the reason I marked it 4 stars is because it doesn’t charge devices that well. I have tried charging both my phone and my bike computer, each time it only charged for a few minutes then died on me. Other than this drawback it is well worth the money. I would recommend this light and hot the a crankable light and mount it on your bike Incase this dies at night with no sun. Hope this helps!

Easy to use
Works fine, I use it almost everyday and I haven't had to charge it.Was simple to install and easy to use, just a little annoying to press the button twice to turn on (but there might be an easier way and I just haven't tried to find it!)Would get again and recommend to anyone who needs a good front light that's easy to install and use.
