Whether you are a competitive cyclist shaving seconds off a flat-tire change or a homebrewer perfecting your pour, our cartridges deliver the consistency and purity required for professional results. Each 16-gram canister is filled with pure, European-sourced CO2, encased in a steel body. Precision Engineering & Compatibility Our cartridges feature a precision-cut 3/8"-24 TPI threaded neck. This is the industry standard for high-end cycling and beverage equipment. For Cyclists: Compatible with Lezyne, Genuine Innovations, Specialized, Topeak, and all standard threaded CO2 inflator heads. For Brewers: Perfect for pressurized 64oz and 128oz mini-kegs, growler taps, and handheld soda dispensers. Frequently Asked Questions: Q: How many PSI can I expect in my bike tires? A: A single 16g cartridge will typically inflate a standard 700c road tire to approximately 100–120 PSI. For a 29” MTB tire, you can expect approximately 30–40 PSI. This provides immediate "ride-ready" pressure to get you back on the trail or road instantly. Q: Are these cartridges truly "Food Grade"? A: Yes. Unlike industrial-grade cartridges that may contain trace amounts of machine oils or lubricants, ICO cartridges are manufactured to strict EU food safety standards. They contain pure, odorless, and colorless CO2, making them safe for carbonating beverages and dispensing beer without affecting the flavor profile. Q: Will these fit my non-threaded inflator? A: No. These are threaded cartridges. They are only compatible with devices that require the cartridge to be screwed into the head. If your inflator uses a "cup" or "sleeve" that holds the cartridge without screwing it in, you likely need non-threaded cartridges. Q: Is it normal for the cartridge to get freezing cold? A: Yes. Rapid discharge of compressed CO2 causes the canister temperature to drop significantly (the Joule-Thomson effect). We strongly recommend using an inflator with a built-in sleeve or wearing cycling gloves during use to avoid skin contact and potential freeze burns. Q: What is the shelf life of an ICO CO2 cartridge? A: Because they are made of high-quality steel with a specialized seal, ICO cartridges have a shelf life of up to 5 years when stored in a cool, dry place. Q: Can I travel on an airplane with these? A: CO2 cartridges are generally prohibited in checked or carry-on luggage. We recommend shipping them to your destination or purchasing locally if traveling by air.
