100% would recommend you anybody looking for a versatile budget friendly tent
I looked at a lot of different SUV tents before choosing this one, and this one hands-down looked much nicer and sturdier than the others. I used it on a camping trip a few weeks ago in Knoxville and was really impressed with how spacious it was — there was plenty of room for all my gear and still lots of space to move around. One of my favorite features is that you can easily pull your SUV away from the tent and it stays standing, then back right up and reconnect without any hassle. If you plan on sleeping in the back of your SUV like I did, I’d recommend a small step stool if you’re on the shorter side because climbing in can be a little awkward. My friend, who is almost 6 feet tall, stepped inside to check it out and still had tons of headroom. Overall, this tent made camping much easier and more comfortable, and it was easy to put up. There are only three poles to hook through the tent and then the side poles did get a little bit of wind, but had no problem. It stayed up perfectly as I do with all of my tents I did spray it down with the water guard. I love that it has two big windows on both sides and then the back where the door is is all one big screen or you can close it all off. I put it up in My Son loved it so much. He’s buying one for himself and my friend that I went camping with in Knoxville. He liked it so much. He bought one for the back of his hiker trailer.. I’d definitely recommend it.

Spacious and Easy to Set Up
I used this tent for a camping trip with my SUV and was happy with it. It was fairly easy to set up, has plenty of space, and connects well to the back of the vehicle. The material feels durable, and the ventilation is good. It made camping with the SUV much more convenient and comfortable. Overall, a practical choice for car camping.

Great tent - Really liked the rectangle space to the classic circular tent style but watch your step
Very cool tent. Easy to put up, did it solo. My only complaint is the front of the tent has no spike loop, and the door is higher already. Tripped a few times on it going in and out.

Practical Camping Gear
This WildFinder SUV tent exceeded my expectations for car camping. The connection to the back of my SUV is seamless, linking the car and tent together perfectly. There is plenty of room for several people to relax and store camping gear. The waterproof and wind-resistant construction is reliable on windy evenings. The mesh windows keep bugs out while letting fresh air flow through. Assembly is not complicated, and everything packs neatly into the included carry bag. If you enjoy road trips and vehicle camping, this tent is an excellent investment.

Best tent I’ve ever bought
This tent has been exceptional. I plan to use it year round. I have used it free standing for 4 months in a row now. During the winter I have been using it to hose my inflatable hot tub. This tent has gone through all kinds of weather, sun, wind, rain & snow and it’s held up exceptionally well. I plan to use it this summer to car camp and next winter to house the hot tub again. The tent is waterproof, through the rain and snow I have not seen it leak anywhere. The snow slides off the roof without my help. The high winds have not damaged it in any way.The windows are great for ventilation and keeping the bugs out. The tent is very roomy and it is tall enough that my 6’4” son doesn’t have to duck his head when he’s inside it.The tent is pretty easy to set up with one person. I’m 5’3” and I’m able to set it up on my own without any assistance. I have set it up standing alone and attached to my suv. This tent is a great investment and I will use it to its full potential and then some.

Love this tent but can’t get a replacement pole
Would give this a 10. This is our second summer using the tent with our Subaru Outback. Sadly, on our first outing we had gale force winds on Lake Superior and one of the angled top poles bent at the curve. No water leaks or tearing. But I couldn’t get any response on my inquiries about a replacement pole. We’ve been using it with the bent pole and it looks like it’s going to completely break soon. Last night on the north shore of Lake Superior we had another thunderstorm with sustained high winds and hurray all is dry and intact. We don’t think the pole will hold up any longer so we’ll be going back to using our other tent and not sleeping in the car (which we like). I agree with all the positives in the other reviews and if you connect it to your car correctly you won’t have bugs or water.

DANGEROUS, looks cool, BROKE after 2 uses.
DANGEROUS!!! I HATE THIS TENT, but 2 stars because it looks cool! Set up REQUIRES 2 people and a step stool. (I am 6’4”) For set up, you start by opening the back if your SUV and placing the tarp over, insert poles, and place the poles in place..till you get to the top. The TOP Pole requires so much strength to place, it’s insane! You technically can detach the vehicle one the tent is up, but it was pretty robbing without the support from the SUV.Also, carbon monoxide poisoning is a real possibility! If the vehicle were to be turned on, the exhaust would absolutely enter the tent. Crazy dangerous design!I broke the top pole the 2nd time we used the tent. It broke when pulling it apart. I bought a $60 Walmart tent off the shelf and wish I would have never wasted my money on this crap. I’m putting it by the road for a homeless, but worried they might Kevorkian themselves.

sturdy and spacious!
We used this tent for our family camping trip last week and it turned out to be a great choice. Setting it up was easier than I expected. Once it was attached to the back of our SUV, it felt like we had an extra room outdoors. The rectangular shape made it really spacious, and with five of us inside there was still room to move around without feeling cramped. At night, the kids slept in their sleeping bags inside while my wife and I kept a small table and chairs set up for cards and snacks. The mesh windows kept the air flowing and we didn’t have to worry about bugs. During the day, it worked like a shaded living area where we could rest after hiking. The material feels sturdy and it handled a light rain without leaking. Packing it up took a little practice but it fit back into the bag just fine. It definitely made the trip more comfortable and gave us a lot of good memories as a family.

Car tent? Not very useful.
Is good as advertised, but really with one use, i realized car tent isnt really that useful. Unless you dont plan on going anywhere with your car once you get setup.
