The Night Before Christmas (Little Golden Book)

I ordered this book for a recent baby shower. I always try to get this story as I received one for my son when he was little and we still have it. It makes lasting memories for Christmas to watch them as they listen to you read it and then when you get to listen to them read it as they get older. It’s a timeless tradition. The book itself is brand new, the spine was in perfect shape and the book was never opened. It was super stiff and I didn’t want to open it so I didn’t get any pictures of the pages. But I did peak inside without cracking the spine and saw that the pics looked nice. For the price you can’t beat it.

An absolutely precious Little Golden Book. The illustrations are wonderful and really bring the story to life. If you’re a lover of all things Christmas you should add this to your library. Your littles and adults alike will love it!

This was my favorite book as a child. I love it.

I recently read "The Night Before Christmas" Little Golden Book and it brought back so many memories of my childhood. This classic holiday story has been a staple in many households, including mine, for years. One thing I really liked about this book is the beautiful illustrations. They were vibrant and full of detail, bringing the story to life. The images perfectly captured the magic and excitement of Christmas Eve. It made me feel like I was right there with Santa and his reindeer, flying through the night sky. I also enjoyed the rhyming text in this book. It flowed smoothly and added a playful rhythm to the story. It was fun to read aloud, especially when sharing it with younger children. The words painted a vivid picture of all the wonderful things happening on that special night. However, one thing I disliked about this book was that it felt a bit short. I wished there was more to the story or maybe an additional scene at the end. But considering it's a Little Golden Book meant for younger readers, I understand why it was kept concise. I have used this book as a bedtime story for my little cousins during the holiday season. They absolutely loved it! The magical theme and festive illustrations captivated their imaginations.

Perfect for family Christmas traditions.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit I bought this for myself. This book was so special to me as a child and it brings back such good memories. It's exactly as I recall with nice bright illustrations. I'm feeling very melancholy this year as I have lost 4 loved ones in a short span. This little book brings me a glimmer of happiness. I did want to mention I received a paper cut from the inside front cover. The corners where the book is seamed are extremely sharp, razor sharp. I'm going to put tape over that area.

Love it! These new golden books are top quality and it’s sweet to have the remake of precious old stories. We all grew up with and love.

This is about product quality. Extremely thin paper. Difficult to handle the book. Poor printing. Not worth but for any amount.

Lovely book, we brought this to read to our new baby on Christmas Eve and although only a few months old at the time she listened to every word. I can see this coming out every Christmas Eve for many, many years to come!
