I can’t believe how healthy my orchids look now. Seriously within days they went from droopy wrinkled leaves to shiny green leaves. I had no idea that you couldn’t use regular potting soil for orchids, it was suffocating them. I found this potting mixture on Amazon and I highly recommend it. One note.. make sure to repot in an open area because the mixture is dry and dusty. Once you water it really well after transplanting the dust is gone.

I transplanted 2 orchids using this a couple of months ago. One was even in bloom and both are doing very well. No bud drops or brown leaf edges. I added perlite to hold moisture longer, since I'm in northern climate & homes are very dry here until late Spring. Seems like a very good product. Kind of costly for the amount you get, but if it works well, it's worth it.

This is the perfect mix for an orchid. I bought the orchid and I got it home and realized the roots are rotting so I needed to repot it. I cleaned off all the roots and cut off the mushy ones. Was able to get it repotted very quickly because Amazon sent it overnight.

The bag was tiny! I was expecting a bigger bag and bigger chunks but it was consistent so you get what you pay for.

Meh. It's orchid potting mix. Nothing special about it for the price. I realize it's my mistake and that it says 1 qt, I did not realize it was such a small amount when i purchased. I assumed, at the comparable price, it would be an amount more comparable to the miracle grow bag I bought before. So I just looked and that's an 8 qt bag. For less money. Next time I'll stick with that.
