Kenneth Cole Reaction Back-Stage Access Slim Colombian Leather TSA Checkpoint-Friendly 16" Laptop & Tablet Travel Business Backpack, Black

The first photo is the brown colored one from Macys.com and the second one is the black one I received from amazon.com. There are parts where it doesn't feel like the leather on the rest of the backpack. The main difference can be seen on the straps. It has a weird cardboard-like texture that the other one does not. I will be returning it.Update:I returned the black one and in hopes to not have an issue with quality again I ordered the brown one as it is the same my fiance has. I can now say 100% that these are not the same back packs and are not authentic. The next 4 photos are a side by side comparison to the brown one I just received. Left is from Macys.com and right is from amazon.com. The leather is cheaper, the dongles are cheaper, and even the stitching is off. I compared to the photos of this listing and in the photos it has the lighter stitching and the full "Kenneth Cole Reaction" brand on it vs the one I just received has just "Kenneth Cole". I will be returning this one as well. I am so disappointed.

Bag leather is soft. Backpack spreads load evenly on shoulders and is snug - no gap between back and bag. Bag has many extra pockets, and they help organize cables, tablet, book reader, or an additional laptop, if you needed to carry one - although it would make bag too heavy as a backpack.Bag has sleeve to attach to roller bag, which is very helpful while traveling.Bag is compact and fits nicely in airplane overhead bins.Bag limitation is there is no padding for laptop to land on. Hence if you drop bag, laptop will get impact. I purchased amazon laptop sleeve to keep laptop, which provides nice padding and an extra cover for laptop. This may not always work if you have a laptop larger than 15".Bag would have benefited if it had shoes to stand on. Current bag sits on leather itself, which will impact it's life.

I bought this for my girlfriend and we are both very pleased. We are both total backpack utility freaks and this one is perfect for a professional looking laptop backpack - and that is saying a lot because we have looked at and owned tons of backpacks. The best feature is that it has some internal structure so it stands up by itself so it is not always slumped over like a regular book bag. Makes it super easy to set next to your chair and not have it slump over and either spill things out or get underfoot. It also looks great - so much better looking in a professional setting than a nylon or canvas bag. Straps are also super comfortable. She likes it so much I am considering buying one for myself!

I fly a lot, so my review is from the persepective of easily trying to get items while on a plane in a cramped environment. From that point of view, I can't see clear to giving it 5 stars for two reasons:1) While is has lots of pockets inside, it needs more zippered pockets and the zippered ones that are there should be smaller so you can orgnaize more stuff. Would be noce t have two side exterior pockets also.2) Needs to be about an inch deeper, or elminate one of the compartments. With three sections, it is great for tablets and laptops and if that is all you plan to use it fore, you are all set. If you start adding headphones or other larger items, it is not easy to pull them in and out.With that said, I am very happy with the purchase. Zippers are beefy and feel like they will last. Leather is of decent quality. I have had two Kenneth Cole Reaction Briefcases and they first one lasted 15 years and the other still looks great after 5. I am not worried about the longevity at all. Even with my two knocks above, I think it is probably the best comprimise for a leather backpack out there.

I have honestly been on the hunt for the Holy Grail of nice bags for work forever. I've tried everything (messengers, backpacks, big, small, all kinds of materials). This is the closest I've come to "perfect" for me, with only a couple minor things. This bag is a little bigger than the picture would lead one to expect, but it is not oversized. It looks classy, the leather is soft, and so far it seems well made. Plenty of room to carry what I need for the office, but I would have preferred it be just slightly smaller to kind of fall into that "urban everyday carry" space. The only other thing I would have liked would have been an optional shoulder strap so that I could throw it on like a messenger bag. I know not many backpacks have this. Just something on my wish list.

This backpack is a star. I have owned dozens of packs of all types over the decades- from super expensive to disposable cheapo. This is the absolute best I’ve ever had. It is equally at home with a suit and tie for the morning commute as it is on a weekend getaway or a country hike.There is a compartment for everything. It can hold an amazing amount of stuff because it is so well designed. Computer, iPad, accessories, writing pad, toiletries, snacks, an umbrella, gloves, and scarf. With room to spare.I plan on buying another one ina few years when this one wears out. But it is so sturdy and well constructed that after several months of heavy use it still looks like new.

Great build quality. Beautiful thick leather. Good quality zippers and straps. Looks professional enough to be in a boardroom but still functional.Lots of storage for documents, charger and mouse.The dedicated laptop compartment is far too large for a 15" or 15.5" laptop and as a result the laptop is not well protected - moves around too much and the bottom of the compartment is not cushioned. I advise ordering an additional sleeve (Tomtoc 360 or AmazonBasics Laptop Sleeve) to be extra sure very expensive laptop it protected if the bag drops.Overall good bag but not completely thought-out laptop area.

La calidad es realmente buena, especialmente la piel con la que está fabricada es increíble. Podría llegar a pagar unos 2500 pesos por ella, quizá los 2800 que costaba la primera vez que la vi, pero más de 3000 me resultaría caro y lo más probable es que no la compraría, sin embargo arriba de 6000 me parece una barbaridad. Puedo entender que es un artículo de muy buena calidad y diseño, además de una marca bastante cara, pero ese precio es una exageración.La logística y servicio de amazon fueron excelentes, son mi tienda favorita desde hace mucho!

There are many things I like about this bag. It is a nice size - not too big, not too small. It has a good amount of compartments and pockets without being overly complicated. It stands on its own without falling over. It's a nice quality of leather and looks great without being formal. Other reviews have pointed out that the laptop pocket padding is minimal at the bottom, which is true. I don't find this a big deal, but it would be simple to just add a strip of foam in there to keep it safe. The one thing I do miss that I've had in other bags is the lack of an external pocket for a water bottle. Overall, though, the benefits out weigh this small shortcoming for me.

This backpack is sturdy and made of quality leather. The size is perfect for daily commute and air travel. Expect to use this classic style backpack for a long time. Only complaint is perhaps there are too many zippers!
