Surprisingly Fun and Easy to Use – A Must-Have for Creative Egg Decorating!
I bought the Egg Lazing Egg Decorator on a whim for our family Easter celebration, and it turned out to be the hit of the day! The setup was super simple — just pop in a battery, secure the egg, and let the spinning magic begin. It came with a set of colorful markers that glide smoothly as the egg spins, making even basic designs look professional. What I love most is how kid-friendly it is. My 6-year-old was mesmerized with decorating eggs without any mess or frustration. Even the adults couldn’t resist jumping in to try it out. We ended up with a dozen beautifully decorated eggs that looked way more impressive than the usual dye kits. The only minor drawback is that it works best with wooden eggs or hard-boiled ones that are perfectly shaped — any cracks or uneven surfaces can make the spinning a little wobbly. But overall, it’s a creative, mostly mess-free, and super fun way to decorate eggs. Highly recommended for families or anyone who wants to level up their egg decorating game!

Great idea fir egg decorating
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is the best way to decorate eggs! We had so much fun decorating with this it was fun for all ages and so easy to use. I feel like we made some beautiful eggs that we can display every year. I used the white wooden fake eggs also sold on Amazon and they were amazing and look so real. This is a fun item we will use next year too.

Awesome family activity. Great fun for all ages and genders.
I rarely leave reviews but this item is one of the best egg decorating gadgets I've ever seen. It is easy even for little kids and it is fun for everyone. 83 year old grandpa had as much fun decorating his egg as the 8 year old . Even 17 year old brother enjoyed (and he is hard to please). We also dyed most of the eggs as well and this can be used in conjunction (best to let the dyed egg dry though).

Such a fun activity
My kids loved it! They want to do it throughout the year. Works with regular washable markers as well. We used fake white eggs and it worked so well. Now they use them in their play kitchen.

great easter gadget!
cute!! we got this for easter, and it worked really well! it made our eggs look so cute and colorful. its super easy to use and actually really fun and satisfying to do. the only reason the stars aren't a five is because after a couple eggs, the color from the marker transfers onto the wheels and starts painting the next eggs whatever color was on there before. so it can look a bit muddy if you don't clean it. otherwise it was perfect!

Eggtasticly amazing!
The media could not be loaded. Took a chance on this and it was a hit with the Adults, I mean the grandkids. Easy to use and great entertainment. Less mess and clean up with all those funky dyes and watery mess. Glad we got it!

Fantastic for older kids and adults too
I originally bought one of these for my older kids. They did not want to dunk eggs in dye anymore, I am a big child at heart and still wanted to decorate eggs. We had for 2 years now, the pens still worked without issue and this last year the kids had to both patently wait and asked if I could buy a second. We all love how creative you can be with the pens having more control. We also love how easy and quick it is to add fun bands of color. This is now our new egg coloring tradition.

Well worth the original price
This was a brilliant concept. I picked one up before the craze hit, paid list price, so won't comment on the amazon secondary sellers. The decorator, though, works very well. It's essentially an egg lathe than spins the egg. Super easy to use and alot of fun. My 15 year old, who has hit the "cool" phase, at first moaned about having to color eggs with the family. However, after he did an egg with the eggmazing, he then went on to do two more. The next day he "had" to boil more eggs and did 6 more. Really a fantastic item. Some things we learned:1) Check the rubber on the wheels. Two of the treads had extra rubber from manufacturing that caused a little wobble in the egg. Once this was removed, the eggs spun very smoothly.2) The treads will pick up the ink from the marker. In additional to leaving a track on the egg, if the marker is applied heavily, the ink will lubricate the tread and your egg will start doing flips. We avoided those areas until the end and using the marker very lightly over those areas.3) Warm up the eggs a little. Fresh from the fridge the cold egg will sweat from condensation and the marker will not go on well. We let them set out about 20-30 minutes and that made all the difference4) The markers bleed. So we ended up using Sharpies and they worked perfectly. These are AP-certified as non-toxic, though not recommended to use on items that will go near your mouth. We found, even with heavy application, that they did not bleed through onto the the egg and there was no after taste on the egg once peeled. This is in comparison to trying shaving cream dying last year, which left a horrible flavor to all the egg whites. The Sharpies also gave a lot more color options. So, use at your discretion, but they worked perfectly for us.In all well worth the original price. The biggest question is durability and how long it holds up. Will update next spring.
