I have been using just the sound machine inside so far for my newborn, will most likely use the plush when he is a but older. We have been using it since they one, we use the shhh sound at night and the womb or harmonica during the day. Baby settles really well at night, he will feed then I put the sound on for 20minutes and he goes right to sleep. During the day it does a great job at keeping other noises in the house at bay, so the baby can rest. I was in doubt because it is a pricey item for us but it is 100% worth it, The charge has been great, so far we have only charged when we remember and we haven’t run out of battery.

Got Ewan for my 14months old daughter as a part of sleep training programme to teach her correct sleep associations . Got a terrible time setting it up and at the beginning it felt like it fails on responding to her cries at all. It’s not so easy to switch and the the mechanism seemed overly temperamental at first, so I was waiting for the morning to come to organise the return of the item. Alas! My daughter grabbed to the toy and held it in her hands snuggling into it for dear life. It soothed her with the sound and light and comported her. Literary 2 days after the use of the toy she associated it with sleep so well that it took her just under 2 minutes to get from full awake to complete sleep! It worked miracles for both her and me. The mechanism needed time to adjust to her cry and it works well now. I suspect that the programme I do is partly to thank, but Ewan made it so much easier for my daughter to learn how to sleep alone in her bed. So yeah! Thumbs up!

Unbelievably AMAZING!! I was extremely skeptical about Ewan because I honestly thought how on earth can this make a difference and OMG it so did. I was expressing to friends and family how unsettled my son was when going to bed. That it took me anything between 2 and 4 hrs to get him to go down without me holding him. How he'd cry and cry to be picked up. That every time I put him down he'd just kick off for hours on end of me picking him up/putting him down. A few people had told me about Ewan and how people they knew had found him a godsend. After my daughters nursery teacher told me about Ewan, I thought I'd give him a try. Afterall I was literally at wits end. After weeks of struggling and becoming extremely tired, I made the purchase. I could not believe the transformation. Within 2-3 nights of using Ewan my son became a completely different baby. Within a week, he literally fell straight asleep. The only regret I have is I didn't purchase him sooner when I was first told about him. I was iffing and aring because I was so skeptical. How silly I was because this sheep actually works. I know he may be pricy but I can't express how much he is worth every penny. Knowing what I known now, I'd probably pay double. I would highly recommend the deluxe Ewan because he has a cry activation mode, meaning when Ewan automatically turns off after 20mins, if your baby starts whining or crying, he kicks back in again, which then settles them back off again if they are waking for cuddles or comfort.

Start with the positives: - There is a good choice of noises to select from. - Doubling up as a toy in later life is a big plus and gets the extra star from what would have otherwise been 3/5 Now the not so good points: - The quality of the audio is poor, tinny and rattles - There are only 2 options on volume, which dictates where to keep the toy in relation to the baby - I can’t decide if the functionality is too complicated or too simplistic. Pressing one button to cycle through options with no way of telling which option you are playing (outside of watching their YouTube videos), couple with double clicking the same button to set the cry sensor on or off - Speaking of the cry sensor, this is hit and miss. I’ve not found it to pick up on our baby crying during the night and turn itself on. We do however have to use an ongoing white noise throughout the night so this may interfere with that. - The reason for a 2nd white noise, is this one only lasts 20minutes and will only trigger for the 4 hours following that. Personally I think restricting this to 2 hours would suffice if branded purely for helping with naps, trying to help with longer stretches of sleeping at night is therefore pointless if aiming for the mythical 6-8 hours. Conclusion: This soother is probably ideal for newborns up to 6 months. Personally, the £40 price point I feel is all a little steep. I think £30 would be a fairer middle ground for a well branded item, given its flaws.

Can’t recommend Ewan enough! Bought one for my twins who kept waking each other and Ewan has worked wonders getting them back to sleep! Love everything about it from the cry sensor to the red light mimicking the womb and the range of sounds to choose from. Will be buying a second Ewan so the twins don’t have to share!

This is my 4th Ewan. All of children have one each and they all love them. One of them is still in perfect condition at 13 years old. The nosies help my baby settle and the noise alert function is a life saver. Highly recommend

My son sleeps so much better with this. It turns on and he calms down straight away. It's amazing

When my baby was a newborn this sheep seemed too quiet. It didn't help him at all compared to the hushh portable sound machine or just playing white noise on my phone. However, we started using it at about 4 months because we like how it isn't on constantly and comes on automatically when he stirs. He does seem to go back down once it comes on, and the fact that it is quite quiet is nice so even if it isn't helping, it is harmless and won't damage his ears which you have to be careful aboit when using loud white noise right next to them. The battery life is pretty awful and we don't even use the light, so rechargeable batteries have came in handy. The buttons are quite fiddly to press from outside of the sheep and the velcro is so loud to get inside so that's kind of annoying. At 8 months old, the sheep has become faulty. The light flashes and comes on randomly, then doesn't go off when I press the button. I really hate the light, it stimulates my baby so I'd rather have the room pitch black. For the price I feel like this should last a lot longer than a few months. It is okay when it's working but I can't be sure it's actually doing anything, and it certainly didn't make a difference in the first couple of months.

I have bought numerous baby products over the years in hope of making life a little easier with regards to settling and sleeping. Of course I’m always skeptical when buying as a lot of items don’t work. But this hands down was the best purchase and works very well! My baby is now sleeping in his bassinet instead of on me. Highly recommend to any new parents!

Acheté pour la première fois pour ma seconde, Ewan a permis à mon bébé d'être facilement rassurée et à facilité l'endormissement. Racheté pour la dernière elle en a fait son doudou... je l'ai principalement utilisé avec les bruits du cœur... La dernière papouilles les oreilles pour s'endormir, et les mâchoires ;) Je trouve la nouvelle version delux bien plus pratique pour le nettoyer!
