A great tool; love the steam function. Our family loves Asian dumplings and they come out perfect! Also great for hard boiled eggs and a myriad of dishes. Had an issue with a leak, but customer service was great and replaced the entire unit. Love it!

This is an excellent product. Safety for function and save time for cooking a delicious meal. I love it, so I bought one more for my colleagues to use in the office.

I returned the air fryer/combi oven as it kept showing me error 2 (overheating) whenever I cook anything over 375F. I had to turn off the oven and let it cool off before I can try again. Not sure if I received a lemon or if the oven isn't intended for back to back cooking. (It won't stop midway, but after air frying some potatoes for 15 minutes at 375F I wanted to cook something else, and I had to wait 5 minutes so the error can go away.) Now, let's talk about the actual functionality of this air fryer/steamer/combi oven. It makes great toast, I like preset 57, I always wanted a Balmuda toaster oven and I think it was able to get the toast crispy on the outside and soft/moist in the center. However, the air frying functionality does not work as well as the traditional air fryer (basket type). It doesn't cook as evenly (there are some hot spots) and was not able to get the surfaces quite as crispy as my old no name air fryer. I also used the combi function to cook a lemon chicken with one of the preset functions. The chicken turned out fine, but the preheating (it preheats to 400F) took forever. I thought I could put the chicken in, dial the preset and come back and the chicken would be cooked. The preheat took 30 minutes and burnt the lemon on the chicken during that process. In my opinion, there were too many preset functions and they all require a lot of babysitting. The steaming function worked great and was the most reliable. It can steam several items at once. Also with the steaming option, it makes it easy to wipe the inside of the oven clean. However, I'm not sure about the drip tray as it's so small it barely holds any water. When you steam, a lot of water accumulates at the bottom of the oven. I like that it has low temperature/humidity settings because it could be a great use for proving dough. All in all, I think if you already have a lot of small appliances and looking for one to replace all of them, this isn't it. It does a lot of things, but not as well as single use items. However, if you have a small kitchen with limited counter space, this product is adequate for most of the advertised functions.

We have tried and let go of at least 4 air fryers before we found this one. Different reasons we let the other ones go were: not PFAS coating free, gross tasting, dry and less crunchy texture than we would like. Also, an air fryer that can only do air frying is really not our thing. I love steam-bake, and this unit fits the bill! Steam-bake works well. Note that even their steam setting is more like steam-bake than steaming. You will be getting chewy textures. All steam-bake ovens do the same, so it is great still. The air frying function tastes nothing like air frying like in other air fryers. Things taste so good! Better yet, all stainless steel without any PFAS! It also has the steaming function for cleaning purpose. !!!Highly recommend!!!

As an Asian family we do a lot of steaming. This steam oven is a big improvement over using traditional steamers. It also comes with a 5 year warranty which is very nice

This oven may seem a little intimidating at first, at least it was for me. I’m delighted to say that so far everything I have tried, has been exceptionally good tasting. So much better than using the microwave to reheat, as the food stays moist and heated throughout, much more flavorful. I just selected the steam setting, it’s around 250° for 15 minutes and that was perfect. Yes, the toast is moist on the inside and crispy on the outside, no burnt edges (preset 57). I would very much recommend this oven, even if you do not consider yourself a kitchen tool techie!

I’ve been using the NuWave Bravo XL Steam Oven daily for about two weeks now and I’m honestly thrilled with it. This thing has completely replaced my old toaster oven and is giving my separate air fryer a serious run for its money. Toast performance is outstanding – finally have perfectly golden, crispy toast without any dryness. The real win for me was reheating/toasting a marzipan stollen that my previous toaster oven always turned into a brick. With a quick shot of steam in the Bravo, it came out soft inside with a delicately crisp exterior. Game changer during the holidays. Pure air-fry mode works great (wings, fries, veggies all come out excellent), but the steam and steam-injection features are where this oven truly shines. Reheating leftovers, roasting vegetables, baking salmon, proofing dough – everything stays incredibly moist and flavorful. Being able to manually add steam mid-cook is something I didn’t know I needed until now. I picked this up on the Black Friday sale, so the price-to-performance ratio felt like a steal. At full retail it would still be worth it in my book, but the discount made it an easy decision. One downside that cost it a star in my rating: despite NuWave being an American company, this unit is manufactured in China. I actively try to avoid China-made appliances when possible, so that was disappointing and the only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 stars. Overall, if you’re on the fence, pull the trigger (especially if you can catch it on sale). The steam functionality alone makes this one of the most useful countertop appliances I’ve ever owned. Highly recommended.
