Dustin O'halloran Piano Solos: 1-2

I wish I had known that this book existed years ago, I have been paying for each individual piece on Music notes which is roughly 5 dollars a song. The pieces are easy to play for someone learning or beginner, and Dustin O’Halloran’s music is absolutely amazing and very moving. Been a fan for many years.

One of the ultimate pure piano albums, incredible mastering and straight on sound from the instrument. Makes this a deeply soulful album, does that work saying soulful for a piano? This has soul! It's a ringing bell from an old church tower reverberating over the countryside waking up the tingling sensations for all keyboard lovers. Get comfortable for a close and personal listen or turn up the volume so it fill your house and play this album. It's is minimalism perfection right up there with Ludovico Einaudi and Philip Glass. 5/5 for sure.

Book was in pristine condition - great selection of pieces, soothing, easy listening music, but with emotion. I kept hearing Op. 23 on Pandora Radio which made me buy the book instead of just the sheet music. Although some new age type music can start to sound all alike, I was impressed with the variety in these pieces.

The pieces in this book are stunning to hear and stunning to play! A great collection of minimalism for those that like Dustin O'Halloran. The price is reasonable and the music hearkens back to their respective brilliant albums.

I became aware of Dustin O'Halloran's music while listening online. I've only learned a few of the pieces so far but they seem to rang from pretty easy to moderate. Some of the notation seemed a little different and at times, didn't have much in the way of LH, RH but was easy to figure out.

Thank you Dustin O'halloran, you have saved me.So many fun pieces... and stretching me a bit, literally, figuratively... as I work through these many lovely pieces.

I love going through this book. I'm most of the way through it having learned each and every piece. It's a confidence booster because the pieces are lovely yet easy to learn. They really have helped me speed up my sight reading and the length of time it takes me to learn a piece has gone down considerably. This is the perfect level for a 4th or 5th year who's 41.

it just doesn't get better, in my opinion. if your looking to enter audio heaven you might want to give this a try....

Really enjoyable book. Arrangements seem to be the same as those performed by O'Halloran on his piano solo albums. Most of them easily within reach for intermediate players but still very musical. My absolute favourite book of contempory piano music.
