I got this for my elderly parents. This is a very accurate and easy to use thermometer with excellent ergonomics for elderly people.It is big and thick compared to other thermometers which makes it very easy for to hold. The large color coded, high contrast display is very easy to read. It gets a reading pretty fast and beeps very loudly when it is done. All of this is good for elderly parents, but I probably won’t get one of these for babies. The readings are consistent and match my trusty Kinsa and Braun Thermoscan 7+. I can’t comment on the battery life yet, but it does use a standard CR 2032 cell unlike the smaller thermometer specific button cells which some other thermometers use.This is a few dollars more expensive than other popular stick thermometers, but I think it’s good value for the overall accuracy, standard batteries and ergonomics. If you don’t need the ergonomics or need a quieter thermometer, you can’t go wrong with the Kinsa which is close enough in price on Amazon.

This thermometer works perfectly. If you’re needing an accurate and consistent temperature read this is what you want to get. We have gone through so many different types of thermometers and none read with consistently like this Braun. Super easy to use even for babies and adults. In a time of need and wanted to see if your loved one has a fever this device will not let you down. Highly recommend to have this in your medical supply cabinet.

Braun is definitely a good brand for these types of products, and this one is a good product too. I love the design, and the color-coded fever guidance is very helpful. It’s both fast and accurate. My only complaint is that it only displays in Fahrenheit; as someone more familiar with Celsius, I find that a bit inconvenient. That is why I gave 4 star.

I'm extremely satisfied with the high quality of this product! It's evident right from the packaging. I also appreciate the fact that it comes with a case. It's expensive, but high quality comes at a price. Excellent German brand! I totally recommend it.

This things has such a weird fit in the mouth of an adult. It was hard to hold it there without drooling a little, which felt awkward and made me worry about the accuracy of the reading. Speaking of accuracy, there wasn't any. For example, I repeatedly tried this out in an ice cold air conditioned room with a fan blowing on me while in perfect health and it kept anxiously saying I had a fever. No matter what I tried, I kept getting an unlikely a high reading. I compared it to other thermometers in the house and nope, I didn't have a fever. I did LOVE the giant display for the numbers since I wanted this for my elderly parents, but an inaccurate thermometer is ultimately a useless one.(Also it creeped me out a little that when I asked for a refund they asked me to mail it back to them. I assume that's to deter people from unethical return requests from like resellers or whatever, but it made me uncomfy to think they could also potentially resell the used defective thermometers. I personally think used thermometers go into a category of things like tried-on underwear bottoms or opened bags of food that should just go into the trash for hygienic reasons...)
