Makes a slight difference

I was really excited to try the L'Oréal Paris Cool Silver Pearly White treatment, hoping it would enhance my natural grey hair and give it that cool-toned, fresh silver finish. While the product did somewhat neutralize yellow tones, the overall experience was a bit hit or miss for me. Color and Toning Effect The formula is designed to enhance natural grey hair by eliminating warmth and bringing out silver tones, and to some extent, it does this. However, the results were subtle, and I was expecting a stronger toning effect. If your hair is light grey or white, you might see a gentle silver boost, but if your hair has darker greys or salt-and-pepper tones, the change is barely noticeable. Application – Smooth But Slightly Messy The texture of the product is creamy and easy to apply, which I appreciated. It doesn’t have the strong chemical smell that some hair treatments do, and I liked that it’s ammonia-free. However, it can stain hands slightly, so I’d recommend using gloves during application. Longevity and Fading Since this is a semi-permanent treatment, I didn’t expect it to last forever, but I noticed that the cool silver effect faded pretty quickly—after about 2-3 washes, my hair was back to its usual state. This means you have to reapply often, which isn’t ideal if you’re looking for a low-maintenance solution. Conditioning and Hair Feel One of the better aspects of this treatment is that it doesn’t dry out the hair. Thanks to the ceramide-enriched formula, my hair felt soft and manageable afterward. However, if you’re expecting deep hydration, you might still need to follow up with a moisturizing conditioner. If you have very light grey or white hair, this can add a nice cool-toned touch, but don’t expect dramatic results. The effect is subtle, and it doesn’t last long, which makes it a bit high-maintenance. While I appreciated the conditioning properties and ammonia-free formula, I was hoping for a stronger silver boost. It’s not bad, but I think there might be better toning treatments out there for grey and silver hair.

Really does lighten the hair and gave a lovely shine, I have very thick shoulder length hair so need to leave it on a few minutes longer than the time recommended the best one out all the ones I've tried
