Catrice | Instant Perfect Soft Mousse | Color Correcting, Medium-Buildable Coverage, Visibly Blurs Pores | Vegan & Cruelty Free (010 Warm Beige)

I was nicely surprised at the creamy consistency of this. I was looking for a somewhat less expensive foundation but with fairly good coverage and a matte finish. I had used Maybelline dream mousse foundation, and this is comparable, but seems to dry without the tiny invasive flakes that seem to be in the Maybelline foundation when it dries. So that is a plus. However it still requires a dusting of powder, unless you want a shiny finish. I would purchase it again.

I am over 40. I have been having a hard time finding a foundation that doesn't settle in my face or make it look like cake! This foundation is really great. It goes on so smooth and doesn't have that cake feeling. It's really light.

I wanted something lighter in weight and less dry. It’s a bit thick so covers well and color stays true. Easy to blend and lasts.

I absolutely LOVE this foundation. You need a very small amount for amazing coverage. It literally leaves your skin looking airbrushed. Make sure your are blending it in with your fingers to warm the product up. You can then finish with a brush. Once it’s set it doesn’t budge or crease! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Catrice Instant Perfect Soft Mousse (color 020 neutral beige) is a creamy whipped foundation. The color is fairly neutral. I think it has a bit of a blue undertone. It’s also a bit dark for my skin if I apply it with my fingers. I get better results with a brush. I like the smooth creamy feel of the product. It goes on easily and smoothly. But, it doesn’t blend as well as I would like and it rubs off easily. It doesn’t last very well. It also doesn’t seem to make any difference to how my pores appear or help cover my under eye shadows.. It also doesn’t provide as much coverage as I would like even when I try to build it up. It doesn’t seem to settle into my fine lines, which is a plus. Overall, I think this is a nice product but it would work better on someone who already has a fairly dewy fresh complexion who just needs to even it out a bit. It’s not the best fit for my more mature skin.

The media could not be loaded. This is a product you can use in many different ways depending on your needs. I use it as a color corrector to conceal some acne spots and marks before I apply my foundation. The product I used for that, also from Catrice, was discontinued so I decided to try this Instant Perfecting Mousse, and it works like a charm. I love the soft moussy texture and how easy it blends to even out the skin tone. It has a matte finish and it comes in a thick glass jar that is pretty big. I think the cost-benefit is excellent. I highly recommend it.

the use of this product generated an allergy in my skin, its finish is a bit pasty

I wasn't sure on the color (I'm hispanic) so I went with the neutral beige and as you can see- it blends wonderfully but leaves a warm-yellow tinge to the skin that isn't *too* obvious imo. I also have a tiny amount of texture on my face and it gives a lovely smoothing effect even without primer. I LOATHE foundation so to find one that evens out my skintone/redness and does't accentuate the problems and feels really nice is truly a miracle. Fantastic everyday foundation if you don't mind a hint of warmth.10/10
