Arcadian Grooming Matte Clay Hair Pomade 4oz

Pleasant long lasting smell, solid hold, maybe a bit too much, a pea sized bit is more than sufficient. Most of all I appreciate it doesn't make my acne flare up or contribute to my oily hair like the do. Indeed it seems as though it helps in that regard.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I like this better than the leading brand, which is too hard to scoop out. The texture of this is creamy and easy to apply. It has the best look of all the others I've tried, not glossy, and the hold is just right for my straight hair. It smells masculine and not overpowering. You can still comb it later on in the day. The price is half that of the leading brand of clay pomade. I just found the right pomade for me and this is it.

I’ve yet to find a clay, pomade, etc. that is strong enough to hold my hair —though this one has gotten closer than others. I have thick, straight native hair, about 8 inches long, for reference. Applying damp and blow drying has worked the best. Scent is fine.

For slightly more than I have paid for lesser products in-store, I was very surprised at how superior this product was. Excellent hold that lasts, without looking wet/crunchy etc., and soft to the touch. Washes out very nicely. New go-to for the work look. I did, however, receive the wrong order at first. I was given matte paste instead of clay pomade. I wondered if it was being sent as an accommodation, but they got the right thing to me shortly thereafter, without waiting to get the incorrect product back which I appreciate.

For the price, this is the best hairstyle stuff I have found. It has a strong hold but keeps your hair looking natural with a matte finish. I'm actually pretty impressed. And it has a decent smell to it.

This is a great product overall. I usually switch up my products to test them and see which ones work well with my hair. Previously was using Layrite Cement Clay but switched to this as it is a couple dollars cheaper. This product is very comparable and works amazing. For guys with thicker hair, I recommend spreading the product with a little bit of water (if your hair is dry) and spread all over hair. Add a little hair spray for extra hold and it will last for 24 hours.

I like the hold and finish of this clay pomade but that's about it. After putting this in my hair if I even tried to run my fingers through my hair it was like pulling my hair out. After rinsing my hair out it was a little better but still fairly unpleasant to touch. Can't say I'd recommend this to anyone.

This is my favorite product I’ve tried so far. It’s a creamy clay that easily spreads in your palm to heat up for application. It goes in smooth with no tug. Easy to form style. Very natural finish with texture and a decent hold. Allows movement throughout the day. The only downfall for me is the scent. It’s a deep eucalyptus type which I am not a fan of. Overall, excellent product! I have fine but very thick hair.

Great product, matte texture and finish and holds well thought out the day and works especially well in humid and warm climates I used this for 3 weeks in Bali and it stayed in so well that I could re work it after wearing a helmet or even drying my hair off from being in the pool or sea

Claims to have a high hold but it doesn’t do anything for my hair. After application, I had a lot of random strains of hair flaying about, which wee caused by this hair product.
