Food groups and portion control.
My wife was recently diagnosed with diabetes. These plates are doing great at teaching portion control and the amount of food in each of the three food groups. A definite help!

plate has a lip
I like this design best + the plate has a lip so my food doesn't roll off. Other designs don't have this feature. Yes, it has helped me lose 35 pounds. Wasn't eating enough vegetables. Helps develop positive habit with reinforcement of visual.

These plates make eating differently than I used to fun. It helps me portion proteins and carbs. I have used them in microwave and dishwasher and they still look good.

Excellent Teaching Tool
Eye catching and colorful way to remind the seniors I work with in nutrition training classes how to manage their portions and meals. I bought these to use in class and pass them around so everyone can get an up front and personal view of what their meals are SUPPOSED to look like. Very helpful. Lightweight so even the oldest participant can hold them easily.
