Rubbermaid Brilliance Food Storage Container, Large, 9.6 Cup, Clear, 3 Pack

I purchased these after researching loads of different food containers. I have previously tried the glass Anchor brand food containers with the rubber lid and found that the lids are not leak proof. I have also tried the Rubbermaid plastic containers with the red plastic lid and found that these are not as dishwasher safe as they claim to be, stain easily, and retain odors. I can gladly say that the Rubbermaid Brilliance Food Storage Containers are BRILLIANT...pun intended. I have tested them travelling with soups in my bag, frozen leftover curry in them, days old chili and have ran them through many dishwasher cycles and I am here to report that they still look like new. They wash clean like a dream, don't retain odors (even fish), they don't stain, and don't leak. They are microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe and I couldn't be happier that I got them. I have ordered many more sizes since then, and have loved all sizes. I was hesitant about the rubber lip not being removable, but I found food barely gets stuck in there and when food does find a way, they are far easier to clean than I anticipated. I love them and will be buying more of these in the future!

Fantastic: Clear plastic, tight fitting lids that clips shut and release air, freezer & microwave ready, sturdy, stackable, made by a reputable company, and manufactured in the USA so I know that it’s constructed with food-safe materials. I just threw out most of my older plastic food storage containers of too many shapes, sizes and lids.Two requests to Rubbermaid:1) Add larger versions of these containers2). Make a lid tray that allows us to put all compatible lids in one spot.

Sorry for the pun, but seriously these are good. They are easy to clean, easily stackable, dishwasher and freezer safe. A great value with the set’s interchangeable lids. They even stood up well against a mischievous dog when I left one on the counter with leftovers inside. It’s a bit chewed up but it still closes and seals.

USA made quality! I use these containers in all available sizes because they work amazing! The clarity of them makes identifying items in the fridge simple at a glance, couple that with their signature air tight seal and these containers are the stuff of legends!

I bought several of these in different sizes. They are awesome, they seal tight when you fasten the lid and keeps the leftovers longer. Very easy to snap tight and let the air out and seal tight.

Great for storage, but when these containers have been in the refrigerator, the lid is difficult to remove. At room temperature, it is no problem, so it has be due to the cold temperature. That may be the price to pay for the tight fit of the lid which expels more air from the container than other brands that just have a snap-on lid.I like the material used - it doesn't get cloudy or scratched like the older, previous Rubbermaid containers. And once it's washed, it doesn't smell like whatever was stored in it.

I have purchased many sizes of these containers and they are air tight and they wash up nicely. Between me and my daughter, we have many and use them. My trouble is getting them back from the people I give food too.
